🇹🇭 Koh Samed 🇹🇭 Thailand in 2024: still worth a visit? 

I had the opportunity to take a quick trip with my old university friends while I was in Thailand visiting my parents. We decided to go to Koh Samed, a little island off the coast of Rayong Province. Back when I was living in Bangkok, Koh Samed was my go-to, quick get-away destination because it's so close to Bangkok (only a few hours by car or bus) and yet the beaches on the island are so beautiful.
Now fast forward to 2024, I was so excited and curious to go back and see if Koh Samed still has that charm and convenience factor or not.
