@jahscorp1317 No joke boy, we have rel good food from Chinese to Indian to Creole to Lebanese to Spanish..We are a melting pot of people and it shows in our food. Trini to d bone🇹🇹👍😍💯😋
Trinidad and Tobago has the best food in the southern caribbean and arguably the best food in all of the caribbean. Glad you enjoyed it!!! Next time try to get a Full traditional sunday lunch. Lots of different dishes added to 1 plate. It's a bit heavy, but it's a necessity for every trini on a sunday. It's amazing as well!
It was perfect for my taste palette! I love the herbs & tropical freshness. Thanks for the suggestion, I need that next time! We'll be back for Carnival 2025
@@Profound_Travelz Carnival? LOL you guys are gonna have fun. Prep your livers in advance. Get a couple workouts in too. It's 2 days of the actual festival, but NON STOP PARTIES in the weeks leading up to it. Most of which have unlimited alcohol. lol you've been warned (about one of the best times you'll have in your lives). And then there's the women O.O
@@jayoils123 lol... you sound like the Grenadians with their dry currants rolls. Who has verified your "fact"? It ain't a fact until it's quantified. Kinda hard to quantify something so subjective. Hence why my post was "arguably". And nobody in the other islands is talking about Jamaican food after that had trini food. So try again Yardie
I'm glad you enjoyed the food from Trinidad & Tobago, when you return you gotta try Trini Chinese Food (as we have a very strong local chinese influence too) and KFC/Royal Castle (we created the hot & spicy recipe that KFC uses worldwide) . Other than that, you had some very popular dishes.
I’m a Trini, living in Montreal and I was so happy that you guys enjoyed our food. You’ll made me proud. I became hungry when I watch you all try all those delicious dishes. Great video, job well done done. 👍❤️🇹🇹💯
See.. I been to trinidad and tobago. 6 times last 4 years. No matter what. I always wanna go back as soon as I land back home. The food and ppl are superb❤
I wholeheartedly enjoyed this vlog! T&T is a melting pot of multiculturalism... The culture of Trinidad & Tobago reflects the influence of Indian-South Asian, African, Indigenous, European, Chinese, North American, Latino and Arab cultures. IMO, our food is the BEST in the Caribbean! I'm happy to see how much you fellas enjoyed yourselves, eating all those delicious meals and fresh, sweet fruits! Carnival will be a whole other experience... They call it "The Greatest Show on Earth" for a reason! Cheers
Thanks for watching & the love. TT food is definitely a top 5 of any I've tried in my life. The diversity in culture reflects so well in the delicious food. We're are planning to return for Carnival 2025 for sure!
You showcased our food in a very appealing and exciting way. Good job, I myself feel like eating everything you all promoted. Definitely there is so much more to be had, but great job🎉😊 🇹🇹
Dude, you have to get yourself to the central and south food stores to really get the mouth watering and spicy flavors the island is famous for. Especially, the doubles and roti!
HI,I Love your video, the food looked awesome,i lived in T&T as a kid back in 1960s and was too young to fully appreciate the food.i have to go back there i have not visited since 1999 i need to return.i loved the way you interacted with local people with love and respect! good job!
I'm happy that you were inspired to return to TT from our vid. It was a true honor to come there and connect with the peiple of TT. We'll be back in 2025
Pho is a traditional Vietnamese steamed soup, with noodles and delicious broth, often served with beef or chicken and raw vegetables. I really love this dish.
Next time. Try the bake and sheen on the beach. You get a much better experience. Bake and shrimp, pie and shark or shrimp. Unlimited Salad and everything.
@@Profound_Travelz bake and shark originated from Maracas Bay. On the bay, there are several vendors and you pick and choose your vendor. All the sauces and salads are lined up in a row like a huge condiment buffet. Plus you need to go toco and mayaro and try some of the stuff there. Aunty Kay from Toco does an amazing sea food boil. Bodows in mayaro for roast fish. Oh and lobster roti in Santa Cruz. When next you looking to visit Trinidad just reach out.
@profound_travelz yea forgot to tell you trinidad has over 14 tipes of mangoes starch is really a beautiful mangoe probably only in trinidad next u come ask for the variety different kinds calabash mango is as big as your head no cap bro lol
@@Profound_Travelz , Of all the mango varieties , People in T&T prefer 2 types the most : (1) Starch (2) Julie . It's a war, because these two mangoes are opposites. I personally believe that the Starch Mango people are in the majority. Starch is milky and stringy and not suitable for cutting and serving. It's best eaten , whole and in your hand. You cannot use starch mangoes in "chow". Julie is firm and can be cut and sliced and cubed. Julie can be used in chow.
The texture was like any other white fish, but a lil firmer. TT is a bunch of herbs, sauces, and delicious flavors of African, Indigenous, Indian, and some European influences. Thanks for watching!
El Pecos food is good but Very Expensive.... bake and shark/fish🎉 Yes the food court at the savanna, POS is a Delightful event, many flavours. Red snapper👍 Tobago is Devine.. Crab and Dumplings🎉 You need to spend 2 nights to enjoy ALL of Tobago.. You must come back for Carnival '24 in Feb. Try to link up with Trini RU-vidrs, they will open you pallette to a different level. I am a subscriber of 95% of them....
Here I am in Swizterland with a stomach ache watching some Americans eating food from my country. Y'all were wonderful and respectful. I still don't understand the American stereotype of black people and watermelon or chicken, white people just don't know good food.
the reason why your roti was messy is because you ate it wrong with that amount of different toppings you put in the roti it was bound to happen but you will learn keep it up and visit again
Hi you can have all your stuff at the side and tear the roti and scoop your sauces veggies and meats to suit you. That's the best way to eat it if you want all the stuff because if you put all in the roti it would get soggy and wet and messy. But it's really better to scoop it up. @@Profound_Travelz
Shark is not illegal in The USA,it's the shark fin that is ! I have been buying shark at the fish store for almost 50 years,in NY and Florida..it's even available at grocery stores now..
I think it was cod or talapia, yuck 🤮 I normally don't eat chicken, pork, or beef and had already been doing too much the whole trip eating chicken. I should have just got a chicken gyro anyway
Idk how my own experience can be inaccurate 😆 Never have I been somewhere on Earth where ppl in the comments are looking for something wrong, but won't acknowledge the good, hilarious 🤣
@profound_travelz it's because trinis know certain spots that are sublime take that roti in trincity mall for u its amazing but for trinis there are literally hundreds of places that will destroy that in taste so next time get a real Foodie guide carry u to the top places for real top roti and we also have unique animals we consume called wild meat some only in this part of the world maaaaannn prep yourself u got a taste but not the taste be blessed brother
Somebody that doesn't eat chicken, beef, pork, or shellfish. A veggie or vegan gyro would have been worse for the camera because that's my normal diet at home ✌🏽
