Safe to say Neo Champion will be different themed each time, last time it was one on one fights and Diantha decided who best fit her criteria. This case it's Leon battling in a team of 3 to test competitors.
I really liked this story! It included more regional characters and the final battle was actually pretty interesting, seeing their plan work out flawlessly by taking advantage of the judges' weakness. I hope they keep this up for future neo champion events
Yeah! I thought so too! lol Funny though! Leon's Team here felt like a nod to Leon's Pokemon Team in the Anime! 😄 In the Anime, Leon has a Rillaboom, an Intellion, a Cinderace and a Charizard. This seems to like mimic Leon's Anime Team! 😀
The mistake the other teams did was focus too much on Leon, the hammer of his team when they should have gone after the architect/brains being Victor. Marnie trying to promote Spikemuth this win should help her out, also Hop in a way he did beat Leon to become a champion.
What i love so much is the fact that the reason the rival won is because, not only did they wanted to win against Leon They wanted to prove themselves to their rivals and knowong tbem by heart, they exactly knew their weaknesses and could focus on it
Despite deleting this game for years ago, I’m still impressed by the design of storylines and the heat of neo champion’s battles. The characters of Galar finally have their stage on 3.5th anniversary, expecting next episode if it’s continued.
The way these children are complaining about how difficult the birds were to capture and how rebellious they are makes me imagine that Will, Marshall, and Sidney would've had zero issues overcoming the difficulties and would've even jived w/ their respective birds' personalities. But they decided to base the story primarily on the rival trio rather than the bird trio. It makes me feel like their partners could've been any three arbitrary mons like Dubwool, a 2nd Reuniclus, and a 2nd Liepard (their designated leads). Especially when their kits don't even take advantage of the birds' signature moves' secondary effects (aside from Hop's, but that's a generic effect easily replicated through a generic DC9; the other two only have the extremely negligible HE2 and Aggr2 for 8 energy at 3/5, but not even a Dirty Fighting/Foul Fighting to take advantage of it if the 30% chances do happen). Anyway, this is just me being salty for about 2 more days until C.Marnie drops, and I cave in to her banner immediately, lol.
his strategy kinda reminds me of his manga counterpart, Soudo Soudo use strategy and calm thinking during his battle, and he keep his focus all the time
Lmao Leon could have asked Calem and Serena instead since they are already Neo Champions. Making Victor and Gloria forfeiting the rights for Neo Champions are just weird.
Neo Champion is kind of regional events, Calme and Serena participated for Kalos representative, henche the judge was Diantha and now it’s Leon’s turn, of course he’ll entrusted the 2 of Galar protagonists for his team, as canonically, they are the ones who became the next champion
But what will they have Zacian and Zamazenta are Gloria and Hop's Pokemon, Eternatus is Leon's Pokemon, Calyrex and by extention Glastrier is Leon's Pokemon and we also have the Three Galarian Legendary Birds now. Considering Rose I don't know what they will have for those SS. Let's not forget the Sync Pair with a Decisive Battle Music Track
Zarude, Spectrier, Regidrago, and Regieleki hadn't debut in Masters, yet. Second, in Team Flare villain arc, Lysander has Volcanion. Spectrier is bit tricky, since Calyrex and Glastrier already debut with Leon.
@@rodoshehossain7400 I mean shadow rider calyrex is still a thing. It’s not uncommon for masters to tap into multiverse theory. Even if ice rider calyrex already exists, that doesn’t mean shadow rider won’t happen.
What I expected: Adaman, Irida and Volo What I got: MORRREE GALARRRRR looks like I'm gonna wait for the next datamine. My hopes for Hisui pairs are slowly fading.
@@wikiuser92 Yeah, RIP my hopes and dreams then. My only saving grace is if only Dena is willing to do anything just for money, they will go with Hisui pairs even if it ruins the lore but yeah I still doubt it.
