Me surpreendeu.
Congratulations to Brazil! Consistency wasn’t there for team USA 🇺🇸 . The guys fought hard!!! It’s ok to loose to a good team. Let’s refocus and improve in Europe! GO USA 🇺🇸
I think they're so far ahead in the standings they can afford a loss and rest their starters and get the subs some good play time against Brazil. Next time they play the USA it will be a completely different team so they might not be ready for the step up in play from the USA.
@@rayguzzo93 that hayes cat should never play against brazil again. he was dominated by their block. also our setter was a big step down from christiansen.
@@neilweaver2356 Because it doesnt matter. this is just week 1. Every time has like a 16 man roster. Coach doesn't want to continuously play the starters. They also want their younger guys to get some reps in.
@@raymonmicosa8089 Alan felt a discomfort in his calf and the coach didn't want to risk an injury that could leave him out for the season. It's super early in the VNL and it wasn't worth the risk
What a game sirs!!! Brazil and USA are two great powers of world volleyball,USA played very well but Brazil excelled in this match!! Congratulations Brazil!!🎉🎉🎉 USA I LOVE YOU❤
obviously, Coach Speraw is experimenting this time for a strong team like Brazil. Christenson and Anderson and Smith not starting. I love how he gave exposure to other players
@@manuellarodrigues4386 but they had bruno, alan, thales, basically half their normal A team. Stop tryna downplay the team they fielded, it was very strong compared to the US
@curniK US coaching staff issue. If they didn't want to climb the main team, it's not Brazil's problem. The only duty of the Brazilian team was to play with dignity and win the match.
Brazil does look strong, but the US was playing almost all subs after the first little bit. I thought USA did fairly well, considering. Haynes I think needs to develop a wider array of angles when he attacks.
Fr Hanes is 6’10 & got blocked over and over, I think he jumps slow and it gives away his arm swing or something,, waste of talent for a dude that huge
I agree. with the amount of times he goes to VNL with Matt Anderson, you'd swears he learns a thing or to. I love Matt cause he hits High Hands and hits down when there is a seam. Hanes just wants to overpower/power through the block...
Judson was absolutely insane this match, 12 balls atacked and 12 points made. I know he's a newcomer and the tendency is for his game to be studied by other teams and consequently get less effective but it still a solid display of skill from his part! I'm curious to see how Brazil will perform against the U.S main roster though. Their Middles and Opposites seem to be solid so far and although promising, I think the outside hitters still need to show they can take the heat at this level (obviously I'm talking about the less experienced ones and not Lucarelli or Leal XD) Love from 🇪🇸
The best thing is the Americans hurting themselves saying they lost the game just because the substitutes played. Brazil is simply one of the best teams in the world.
@@mariasilva.2765 I don't recall anyone saying that from them. It's probably the fans. I also read some fans saying Japan keeps winning cause the teams they're playing are B teams only.
yesterday Brazil played with Cuba and lost to Cuba, today Brazil played with USA and won. This is called a game, there are days you lose and there are days you win and that's okay because you can always learn
There are so many wrongs in USA strategy, gameplay and etc. But they did great knowing they won 1 set over Brazil. Kassel really stood up and show no retreat and no surrender. It would have been a devastation if they lost 3-0. This is still a good game to them knowing what to improve next round to Rotterdam. Jake Hanes needs to be polished so he can be the next Anderson. Shout out to Brazil who came victorious and was risen from an upset to Cuba. There are so many learnings and a lot of lessons from this Match moving forward. Over All the most outstanding team was Japan. ❤ take note Japan will play in the Philippines where they have a huge Fan Base. It gonna be their second home court advantage. 🇯🇵🎌🗾
Although it was a celebration for Brazil's huge success after a heartbreaking loss againts Cuba, but this game was obviously planned out by team USA. For the past three games of USA, they are consistenly using Christenson as their main setter, and Anderson as opposite except against the Dutch. I was expecting that they'll gonna be all-out against Brazil but no. Why? They are probably trying to fill the other positions with other players to test if these new players can play against Brazil's level of volleyball. Or reserving the other players for a higher ranking match. But again, it's Brazil's triumph after all. 🎉
What Cubans did to Brazil, Brazil did it against USA without any hesitation. The rookie players stepped up on their game and had absolute composure the entire match. Kudos to their better receptions and lesser mistakes that was missing on their match against the Cubans.
Not people talking about team B when Brazil had Judson and Honorato playing their first matches as "starters" ever for Brazil.. Both teams used a mixed cast, but Defalco got benched after a few blocks so the end got messy 😂
prob cause USA haven't lost a single set in the competition while brazil had just lost a match vs Cuba.. but I agree, last 9 games x USA brazil won 6, not an upset at all
Looks like a John Speraw experiment not playing Micah and Matt. Nothing to take away from Brazil, they played better but this was the USA's second team for the most part.
Apart from the obvious B roster for team USA I must say even for their A team its gonna be a tough one. Especially, I really appreciate Brazil's serve reception (or at least what I can judge from these highlights; too poor for VNL pass). There were some absolute dimes in there so Bruno can show his magic. Great reception is the basis for exeptional offense and it showed.
speraw said the main problem was the chemistry between micah ma'a and the hitters. the reason why he chose ma'a to set for USA on this match is something we wouldn't know but speraw seemed to have wanted ma'a to have experience in big matches such as this
@@TheWolfOfWolves-vy6ok Porém qnd o Brasil joga com time misto ngm quer saber e todo mundo quer q ganhe de qualquer jeito, seja contra quem for.

Team USA looks intimidated and overwhelmed by the Brazilians😬. So many block party made by Brazil. I guess USA will never ever be consistent in defeating Brazil Mens Team😔.
