He got many South African artists to join the project. Rhythm of the Pridelands is an album that inspired what we know from The Lion King. Hans Zimmer used the choral arrangements in his compositions. Which made the soundtrack richer and deeper.

I saw these kids perform live in 2017 I'm sure, but till this day, I can never forget them man. South Africa is a country filled with great talent, to the brim. Some of these kids come from backgrounds that many of us can't even imagine being in, but here they are, sharing their gift with the world. It just makes me say "God is good".

I saw the performance on RU-vid you are reviewing now and I felt the same way. I have never seen them before but I am absolutely blown away but the most...I cannot even find the right adjective!.... performance of this song I have ever heard. They should be so proud, South Africa should be so proud. I am literally half a world away and I would sleep in line (at my age no less!) to be able to see this talented group of singers perform. The song always brought tears to my eyes, but I was crying just listening to them. Absolutely without words!
