No one is against urbanisation of townships! But South Africans should benefit and not Africans who are here illegally or seeking economic migration… that’s the whole problem

While I am happy with the progress of black communities in South Africa, I think we shouldn't use "black excellence" as it makes excellence a racial thing. Excellence transcends race. It also make achievements into a racial thing instead of the achievements of the individual and the change they made.

@sirkermitthefirstoffrogeth9622 Understand my point when I said Black excellency it's mentioned on the light that we are talking about progress made in black township not in a white suburb though I know we passed that stage of racial segregation but I don't see anything wrong when we upland a success of another Africab person in our space of living

@@BoyceDennison No I have no problem with Africans succeeding in South Africa, genuinely. But I think saying black excellence segregates excellency in a racial manner. It's excellence in terms of demonstrating how people's who are in South Africa's predicament like poor countries, and how they can advance themselves as well. That's is not a racial thing, that's a national and a humanitarian Excellence.

Indeed, this is work in progress... future upgrading of Moema Park shall include more elaborate and themed hard and soft landscaping, i.e. trees, grass, benches, outdoor gym, 5 a side soccer turf with mini goal posts, fencing and ablution buildings, to name but a few items... ☝🏾

Indeed, there are quite a few Wetland areas in Soweto, large and small, as well as Rivers and River Streams such as the main one that runs east to a southwesterly direction from Naledi in the west, through a number of Soweto Suburbs, cutting accross Emndeni, Zola, Jabulani, Central Western Jabavu north of the Credo Mutwa Arts & Culture Precinct, and right through Mofolo Village, Mofolo Central, and through Mofolo Park, where it adjoins to another Soweto River that runs in a north to southerly direction, south of Mofolo Park, as well as the natural Dam in Rockville, viz. the Rockville Dam, and with all of these natural water streams and wetlands banking south of Ubuntu Kraal in Orlando West - in the Kilp River - south of Kliptown. There is therefore a huge requirement to 1stly bring these Soweto Rivers, Rivulets, Wetlands and Dams, into a proper state of environmental repair and maintenance, working jointly with the Communities that live in close proximity to these natural waterways, and equally importantly, with the Johannesburg Municipality through its Environmetal Arm, the Johannesburg City Parks & Zoo (JCP&Z). Carefully approached and handled, a wholly New Wetlands Based Environmentally Sustainable & Human Develooment & Tourism lnfrastructure Based Economy, can be curated here. The South African Towships & Rural Development lnstitute (SA Townships) is currently engaged in this regard with JCP&Z.

Yes you do... 😊 ... but that on its own is not a problem and can not be seen as obstructive. In The City of Joburg, l have found the relevant Departments as being very helpful and eager to assist. Non compliance to rules & regulations simply adds to things falling apart further and further.
