Story 1: Why couldn't the wife use her own money for Sally? He wasn't friends with Sally, and he has the right to use the money he earned for whatever he wants to do. Wife is the a-hole. Story 2: Not the a-hole you did the right thing. Story 3: Your daughter is the a-hole, she is treating you guys like babysitters. Story 4: Steak for the dogs?? Holy shit. You're not the a-hole at all. Story 5: He's the a-hole plus he kept insiting to buy drinks and refused to let her pay. So she is totall not in the wrong.

story 1: neither is the a-hole. yes, she did take your money but I understand because she saw a friend who could potentially not get treatment because of financial issues. you aren't the a-hole either bc you would've given some of the money if she had asked.
