As someone has written a book with LGBTQ+ characters (I'm in editing hell), I am forever wary. I'm LGBTQ+ myself, but what if I'm not representing something in a way that feels right for me yet not others? It's such a delicate balance. I just hope I've done it right. We deserve to have those characters out there, deep within society and accessible for those following us that did not have that same access. This video really does make an incredible point. Good work, friends. I, for one, appreciate it. Little me certainly would have felt the same way back when.
