a lot of people are saying ‘sanemi is stronger’, here’s what I think. because sabito is alive, sabito gives motivation and reasons for him to work harder to not make tsutakos death a meaningless action, in which leads to giyuu training hard and rising his physical strength and endurance. so, what I’m saying is that without sabitos words he wouldn’t have had that burning motivation to make tsutako proud. In the manga, that was also what gave giyuu strength to become a hashira. but after a while (the og au) giyuu starting thinking “oh it’s all my fault, I should’ve been stronger” which lead giyuu to lessen his motivation. to put it short, without sabitos *continous* encouragement, giyuu would’ve been unable to hit back nor talk back.
If this was any bit accurate, Sanemi would have gotten up and slammed his fist into Gyiuu's face. Trust me there is a reason why Sanemi is the second strongest Hashira.

No he wouldn't. None of the hashiras would. They all know the pain of losing a loved one and wouldn't dare to mock anyone whose gone through the same thing. Especially sanemi who lost his siblings mother and best friend.
Yeah, not ever happening. Sanemi cares about his fellow Hashira and damn well knows the pain of losing someone who you love. The only reason he doesn't like Giyuu is because of his "I'm not like you guys" attitude, however it doesn't mean he would say this towards him.

Sanemi aint stronger than Giyuu. The only difference is that Giyuu is having depression and doesn't want to fight or inflict the cause of the things they say to him. If he wasnt depressed i am surely he can stomp giyumei and sanemi :) Don't mess with the quiet kid guys. :)

Then giyuus no longer a hashira for breaking the corpse rules of attacking another member. Also sanemi had to have held back in that punch bruh ain’t no way giyuus ass catching it that easily
Sanemi didn't expect Giyuu to actually hit him. If so, he would have protect himself easily. Sanemi was too blinded in his own rage to notice Giyuu's attack. And yes, Giyuu broke the corp rules, he would have to leave the demon slayer corp. :(

@@E.Zacherry.V i wasn't serious and yes both of their swords broke but giyuu is not as strong as Sanemi. In fact while giyuu is the fifth strongest hashira which is very good Sanemi is the second strongest
@@E.Zacherry.V i didn't found it but when you compare them on how they did in the fight for example. Sanemi got hurt badly by kokushibu but survived the fight with two lost fingers and he did better in the fight against mizan while giyuu lost his arm in the fight against akaza and didn't do so well against muzan. Giyuu is the best in defense of the hashira while Sanemi is the one who can tank the most and is the best in aggressive attacks. In a 1v1 Sanemi would win with mid to high diff. Also giyuu is not good at range but Sanemi is very good at it

Ignoring the totally wrong personality of these characters. I don't think Giyuu could land a hit on Sanemi. Sanemi is 10x faster than him, mean he could block the attack or Dodge. And if Giyuu did attack Sanemi with his sword Giyuu would be removed from the demon slayers, and I don't think Sanemi would sit there and take the slash.
