I approve of this video. It is informative and indepth. Homeworld has been one of my fav games and seeing this gives me hope to attract new players ^w^
Thank you very much my new friend! Homeworld is one of my favorite RTS games and my favorite space game ever. I am glad you liked my presentation and feel free to add your tips for new players in the comments. Which topics should I cover in the next video besides formations, stances and tactics?
I say formations, sandwich and 3 sided assaults would be an idea. Also I believe I have you in my steam contact ^w^ and believe me, I'd be honored to cover those topics with you
Working overtime for content eh?, i am taking a break completely uninspired right now, was creating desert foitage with Deserts of Kashyk and Silica and Starship Troopers but got bored Nice energy to this vid hats off for the energy applied to make this
Hello, actually I am working 4 times less than a year ago, down from 4 videos a week to just 1 on average. My kid is growing up so there is a lot I have to teach him. Thanks for the feedback. Hope you find your inspiration again soon
@@addictedfoolgamer1970 haha he is still only 5, so no PC games for a few more years for him. I need him to get used to the school education system before he learns C&C openers and unit counters :)
uhm hey i have question for the upcoming homeworld 3 release is the graphics will be high or medium quality like requirements like that is homeworld 3 applicable in low end PC?
Hi and thx for the comment. Form what I have seen the requirements are yet to be posted by the developers but except a level above what Deserts of Kharak and Homeworld Remastered required.
That is great to hear! BTW you can follow my battles and more Homeworld content here on this playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLRYGjguAn0CGLPgQLuXXE6siom0Mg8LnC
Could be that you are playing vs people half the world away. There is one dude from UK that when I play him, and I am from Europe, we never manage to finish a game without a lost connection.
I am such a fan of the Homeworld Series. The first one I played was actually Cataclysm AKA Resurgence. Even though I like H1 and H2... I love the game balance and narrative of Cataclysm and Deserts of Kharak. I'm currently playing Xenonaughts 2.
@@perafilozof There are probably a lot of xenonaught players who have played more hours of it. And I'll be honest I haven't played lots of this one yet. It's basically a very polished version of the original in every aspect. But so far there is nothing that is intrinsically new. There would have been criticism if they had turned it into an x-com: enemy unknown clone. But a few new aspects or game mechanics would have been nice and fresh.
You are welcome and I am happy to see more people going into the game. Feel free to add me on the Shift multiplayer platform and on Steam so we can play. Spector is my nickname in both places. And there is my steam profile link on my channel's about page. More videos about the gameplay are on the way.
@@perafilozof any recommendations for where to go next in the series? I have Deserts of Kharak and Emergence/Cataclysm on top of the remastered collection (thank God for GOG and steam summer sales)
Well... there are not more games until Homeworld 3. But you might like some of the alternatives to Homeworld, I made a list here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9zqJa4H1uoI.html
Great vid. I have a dilemma on what should I play first since i got both Homeworld remastered and Deserts of Kharak? I mean storywise DoK comes first but gameplaywise?
