The city called Government City (Magufuli City) in Dodoma, Tanzania was founded by former president John Magufuli for the purpose of being the national government's headquarters. It will accommodate all ministry buildings, a diplomatic enclave, government residences, and the judiciary. Situated 17 km east of the city's center, the total cost of the project is $4.7 billion. The second phase of the project amounts to Tsh 675 billion ($259 million) and it has already begun. Big shoutout to the government for upholding JPM's legacy! It's worth mentioning that the current President of Tanzania, SSH, was also part of the government when they kicked off this project under the late President Magufuli's leadership! #RIPJPM To support our work 👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿 JOIN Patreon www.patreon.com/mikachavala JOIN PayPal www.paypal.com/paypalme/mikachavala JOIN Membership ru-vid.com/show-UCFQk9AVZtAsHGIsl8I2ohhQjoin #oneafrica #oneafricarightnow #swahilination
How come I didn't see this channel before!? I have been constantly watching Wode Maya for years now, not knowing that besides Kwame Nkrumah, there is Julius Nyerere and others! Keep showing us our Mother Africa. By the way, I love the T-shirt you're wearing, it says it all!
@@mosesnyelo1380The building of the city was set in motion under Magufuli (RIP) budget allotment etc. It’s a reason why it’s named after him, silly sod!
@@section8ight174 hahahaaaaa u know nothing am Magufuli gang bt its clear the long building started after mama samia take place both they deserve credit
@@mosesnyelo1380 bless your heart! You are clearly clueless buddy but it’s ok they both have done their part and we are moving forward as a country, that’s all that matters.
@@section8ight174 am clueless hahahahaaa I do check every thing the government is doing since magufuli time till now so a know what am talking about n during magufuli era samia was vice president don't forget that
Great👏🏾 I was in Tanzania in 2018, and since then I've really enjoyed the country. It's in the midst of construction and development. May leaders be raised up to lead the country to prosperity.
I cant wait to see your excitement when you film Msalato Airport project one of my favourite project. Mungu Ibariki Tanzania, Mungu Ibariki Africa na Watu wake. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 it is exciting to see how excited you. We love you Mama Samia Kazi Indeleee.
A Well deserved Honour considering the exemplary selfless service and contributions that Honourable Magufuli effectually rendered selflessly to and for his people! He left leaders a challenge to dare genuinely care, rather than self enrichment, he bequeathed us a responsibility to serve unreservedly even and especially when nobody was noticing. 1000 years from now generations to come will know and revere his selfless boldest spirit of genuine love for his people. Men like Honorable Magufuli and now Traore ought to live FOREVER, because there is so much to be achieved here on earth for the people which some in leadership won't simply serve because of dispeakable corruption.
Loved the video, then immediately wanted to delete it and put up the force field around Wakanda..😂😂 Seriously, Asante sana kaka.. Love from the Caribbean 🇧🇧 , keep up the great work.❤
Anasema kweli huyu tusimtukane.
Beautiful city. Job well done, madame President Samia and your team. You're making Africa proud for all the incredible developmental work you're doing there in Tanzania. Keep up the good work. All the way from Southern Africa.
@@mohamedbabajalloh4055 ...She deserves credit by not abandoning Magufuli's developmental vision, which is typical of many African leaders. Give credit where it's due.
@@cypriantertullian7495 they both deserve, but more to magufuli who initiated all mega projects that you witness, and also she deserve as she's continuing. It's not fair to praise her only while forgetting late magufuli
Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia said it is the government of African countries to build infrastructures for development. The West has been telling African leaders that the private sector must build their infrastructures for development but Meles said a big NO .
Thnks for the episode with a lot of energy, when MAGUFULI CITY will complete all buildings to be covered with glasses, it's gonna be verry unique city here in Africa
Great content. Thank you very much for showing us what is going on in Tanzania. Kudos to government especially to Mama Samia and to Walipakodi. Would you kindly take a video of the Dodoma SGR station in details, pls?
Since you are in Dodoma consider doing video on the Sandwe tribe. My ancestry revealed I am from Sandawe tribe. Currently live in las Vegas Nevada USA.
Get off that Nevada high horse and do it yourself. Who wants to know about tribes at this time and age? Besides, why did you escape? C'mon. Give us a break !!
Um verdadeiro herói. Um verdadeiro Africano! Um verdadeiro senhor Presidente. Este presidente e uma inspiração para muitos Moçambicano. Viva Tanzânia! Viva presidente Magufuli! 🇲🇿🇲🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿
Bro job well done na kuna mahakama kubwa afrika mashariki ipo dodoma makulu kalibu na usalama please tell people about that biggest project they will love it 🎉🎉🎉
Development is not measured in grand buildings but in making things, researching and producing things that you created from the mind. What is Africa's future?. Are we to follow the western worlds use or engines, roads, and train systems or are we going to develop more efficient means of transporting goods and people without roads and rails. Africa is huge and requires faster efficient and functional systems of transportation.
There's always one person who criticize everything. Do you think the government of Tanzania is not doing all of that?😂 We're already late we need to do almost everything in the same pace. Btw are we supposed to produce things and do researching while living in villages and jungles??😂 Think man , what's Africa's future?not sure about that but we know exactly what's Tanzania's future
Don't you see those roads, haven't you see the sgr (electric trains) it passes through Dodoma to the north & western part of Tz 2400+km (actually the 5th longest eletric railway line in the world) Infact Magufuli city is one of the many projects in Dodoma . Biggest airport in the country, NCC link area, road ring and flyovers, water system from Victoria to Dodoma, and the sgr. And a lot of industry are already opened and operating.. Tanzania gvt know exactly what is doing toward Tanzania's future. So we don't need your cheap lecture
Love you Mica, but should it be Mwl Nyerere's city 2. It was his idea, he implemented it, n started building the city, but it ended tuseme kwenye msingi, he had alot to deal with, vita vya Kagera with Idi Amin Dada, n sera ya ujamaa somehow started to slow things down. There was uhujumu uchumi period, n PM Sokoine had to step in n helped the president, so yes Magufuli was bold enough our Modern day Robin Hood, he so loved the poor. Taxed the rich dry, n built the country. At least people could see where the heavy taxed money went to. It's a beautifully planned city. She is Samia, meaning msikivu, She is Suluhu, meaning making peace btwn qwarreling people, She is Hassan, meaning being good. So her name says it all. She implemented the policies of Magufuli. And she is doing quite a good job of it. You young guys don know the stories of Dodoma. Dodoma was the worse place. It is the centre of our beloved country but it was dry n ugly. No water. Thats why the Gov't officials did not move to Dodoma. If our founding father did not implement the idea if making it our gov't headquater it would have turned into desert. And the Wagogo wangekuwa kwenye matembe mpaka leo. So KUDOS to Mwl Julius Kambarage Nyerere, a selfles leader, who he retired, he had only 8000 $ to his name , his kids were just like normal peoples kids, couldn't even own a car let alone a house. He had only two very normal houses. One in Dar es Salaam Msasani an another at Butiama his birth village in Mara Musoma. That was the giant of Africa, a man of the people comparable to none, not even Magufuli. His children never held a serious position in any gov't office. Went to normal schools in our own contry. We can nevrt get another president like him. A founding farher with Kwame Nkuruma n others of Pan Africa. Am proud of my country Tanzania, we have our own internal strifes, we deal with them peacefully. They call us Timid, may b we r i don know, but i'd be timid n b at peace, Be so aggresive, n in the process you loose your humanity. Go Tanzanians, Go Africa, be proud of being a timid Tanzanian than b an aggrecive inhuman guys. Mungu ibariki Tanzania na watu wake, Mungu inariki Africa na watu wake.
If Africa can build on education, agrotechnology, electricity penetration, rural development, infrastructure, end corruption, these cities will come up by themselves. Mineral exploration, extraction and value addition knowledge are areas we need to build on. Africa should just copy what China did, high quality education of its people. These built up cities without industries or major economic activities to surround them will just be surrounded by slums or low end residential areas for cheap labour to the city. Nice houses will be a conserve for the foreigners and corrupt politicians.
@@AB-bb5vg, he’s Kenyan, they hate Tanzania 🇹🇿 without a reason. We did not ask them to elect Ruto, we did not ask them to go to the streets to burn down their houses, Cars, Shops, killing each others, because of bread 🍞
Blind people need eye surgery so as to see well. If you have not gone to see a doctor… how can you see? If you are clever enough… you can ask somebody to watch for you and narrate to you. Humility helps.
