I disagree. To rent the Bernabéu for a concert (five or six days) costs around 100.000 euros. The retractable roof and pitch costed (just the construction, not counting the maintenance) more than 300 millions. They will need more than 3000 events to start making money. And until further notice a year has 52 weeks. Now you tell me how many artists or sports other than football need a stadium for 85.000 persons. If you come up with 52 (it's impossible, but let's assume it's not, that there are so many artists that fill big stadiums and they tour each year and they are mad to play in Madrid) and we assume that these 52 big events can take place together with about 40 football games (something too impossible), they will need 57 years just to start making it profitable. 57 years. Unless someone can enlighten me I don't see the business and much less the greatness in spending more than 300 milions to have an incoming of 5,2 millions per year. Have you ever asked yourself why in Europe (I don't know in the US) all the big halls and stadiums that hold big concerts and events are not in private hands? Simply: because there is no business in it. And the quality of the grass of the Bernabéu is subpar, far from perfect, it would be much cheaper to rent the stadium for as many concerts as possible in Summer (when the big tours take place) and replace the grass (around 300.000 euros) at the beginning of the football season, instead of spending 300 millions and, sure, much more than 300.000 euros a year in the maintenance of that poor quality grass.

Not really. It's in Castellena, about 6 km away from the Centro. Mercedes Benz stadium is less than 2 km from the city center. All three are incredible stadiums.

Thats false. The 360° screen on its own is a tourist attraction and sells tickets. The ad revenue from it will also be insane. Also it does appear quite frequently. In the few games that madrid has played at the Bernabeu since installing the screen, it has appeared more frequently on screen than the regular screen ever on did on TV.
