4 reasons... Smoking pot. I couldn't remember my dreams until I quit smoking pot and now they're rocket charged and I've had 2 lucid dreams in the last 2 weeks.
@@inspirenation Yap. Apparently it effects REM sleep. I used it to "help" me sleep for the last 15 years. Ever since I quit, I've been sleeping better than ever, and my dreams have been crazy. Quit about a month and a half ago, and had my first 2 lucid dreams in the last 2 weeks.
Smoking pot doesn't stop you remembering dreams it actually stops the brain realising REM sleep so you don't dream, but you will still produce REM sleep. So when you stop smoking you will have a lot of REM sleep built up (depending on how long you've been smoking for) and will have very vivid and sometimes weirder than normal dreams. On occasion you will still dream when you're smoking that is because you've got so much REM sleep built up
oo dear...sooo sweett....it gives me hope....not just to lucid dream...but to b 33 happily married..yearss..may it be so...blesssss EVERYONE WITH LOVE LOVE LOVE
Post reading Carlos Casteneda, I was able to do this with the hands and it helped in a familial dream where I was able to inject myself into a particular dream and able to contact my dead father. That success led to a resolution of an issue regarding myself and my father so it was very healing.
Thank you for having Robert Waggoner as a guest and thank you for being such a wonderful host. Truly. I appreciate the way you jump right into the topic.
i also have prophetic dreams. when i wake up i write them down and seal them in an envelope. when it happens i have my fiancé open them and see it was already shown to me 🙏🏼
You really need to read his book. Its the very best on the market at this time. In it he taljs about the larger awareness BEHIND the dream. You can ask it question. Ive done this and let me tell you its amazing what you can learn. The other bokks dont cover this because Waggoner is the first to discover this aspect of lucid dreaming. GET HIS BOOK.
wow that ending meditation helped me interpret a [non-lucid dream where I had a hundred black snakes inside me trying to get out.] So... During the meditation, as I entered the 'cave', my son was a meditation guru in the cave teaching a hundred meditators and i gave each one a black snake (kundalini) so everyone had just the right amount, and I didn't have 'too much' anymore. whew. Meaning: related to my purpose as a Reiki practitioner. Thanks so much.
IamOne thanks for comment :) ... at first it seemed like a bad dream. Then I tried to see what info it could give me. Since that post I have profoundly interpreted this same dream further. After further research, I discovered that 'Throwing up black snakes' is a classic waking dream people often have, after ingesting Ayahuasca. So not only did I go into the cave and distribute my kunkaline where it is needed, I also got to dream that I drank ayahuasca/DMT, without actually having to take it. This is gooood, cus I have no desire to actually take it. Now I am very clear that I am able to go into my subconscious more safely, and more economically lol, in my dreams.
My 7yr lucid dreams nightly. I used to lucid dream so the time but I'm too stressed and overworked to even get more than 2 hrs of sleep in a row. Anyways, I recall that youre supposed to ask anything in your dream "why are you in my dream?". So I told her to do that. So far nothing will really answer her. She asked her friend from school why he was in her dream and he just whispered. She asked him again and he whispered more. She also had a dream a 2ft dragon/dino happily playing with her. She asked it why it was in her dream and it's eyes shriveled up , it grinned maliciously and ducked under a table, while muttering and then whispering "because". It ended up coming back out and being cute and nice and playing with her. Should a child of her age even be asking this question or is her mind too new and tender? Maybe it doesn't yet have answers for her yet? Advice please?
I’ve been wondering why Robert changed all his L by R until I see him drinking a German beer and everything was clear! Lol Great video with awesome insights.
I connected with S LaBarge dream sign concept. Over time I discovered one of my dream signs was whenever I would pickup on something violent was going to happen usually to me. So whenever violence started I would realize I was dreaming and become Lucid hope that helps
the healing aspects are very exciting. Such as nice share, thank you. Can we take that into our experience of this world? Any evil we encounter, is from our creation?
I used to experience Lucid dreaming all the time when I had a consistent meditation practice, did not use any alcohol and did not take any sleep medications. Then I began to use alcohol again and that went on for about 15 yrs. Now I am off the alcohol, Meditating again and having no success with lucid dreaming, I think, due to treating with sleep aids. I have pretty bad insomnia these days. Any suggestions? Should I just struggle through the nights without any medication and hope for the best? I read all the Casteneda books in my youth but the lucid dreaming got amped up quite a bit when my indian guru appeared to me in a lucid dream during meditation. Not sure what came first - my guru experience or the lucid dreaming. It was so amazing though and it happened ALL the time and also leaked into my daily life in pretty miraculous ways. I so want to get back to it.
I think it depends on the sleep aids. I have had similar non-dream producing habits as others in here. Pot, alcohol, anything narcotic to make you sleepy have never been conducive to dreaming, or at least remembering them, for me. I take small doses of melatonin to help sleep. I am dreaming almost every night and that’s after alcoholism and drug abuse for about 10 years...good luck!
I carry an old key around in my pocket, and throughout the day I take it out and hold it in the palm of my hand, then tell myself, when I see a key in my dream I am dreaming. The first time I tried it, it worked, well partly. I saw the key in my hand when dreaming and realised I was dreaming. As I looked at my dream arm a spirit arm began to raise out of my dream arm. I know both arms were dream arms. I then tried pushing a finger through the palm of my hand to confirm I was dreaming, but my finger only went part way through and I started wiggling my finger inside of my hand..but it failed to go all the way through. I realised then that I was coming out of the lucid dream and tried looking at the key again..but it did not work, I woke up. Still, it was amazing. I woke up because I realised that I was trying to hard to stay in the lucid dream.
I always know that im dreaming.most of them r disturbing that makes me think oh no,i cant do it anymore.I have to wake up .is it lucid dream? I didnt know that and frankly i never could get how u cant remember ur dream.i wished i was like that bcos i wake up tired of activities in dream.
all techniques work because they are merely self imposed suggestions. Its like hypnotherapy in reverse. I sometime get paranoid in lucid dreams, afraid of not waking up. I once had a weird Kodachrome dream because prior to sleep I thought of vivid colors dream. Another weird experience is false wakening. Walking around and seeing furniture in your room that you have never seen before and you become lucid. I always double check to make sure I;m dreaming by levitating.
17:13 omg I had exactly that sensation in one of my lucid dream !! I was so afraid, one of the biggest fear of my life ! At the exact same instant I knew I was dreaming, I remember something was approaching me behind and on the right side of my position (in the dreamed place), and the more this thing was coming the more I was afraid, my gosh, but I couldnt see it and ask something
