Me! I giggled to myself & said "Tom Cruise" during g the lip n slide. I love the sene of humor and down to earth vibe I get from your videos. Thanks for sharing these great tips with us Courtney 😊
I did the was seals the year before last for Christmas. Just be aware for anyone wanting to do them that each crad will need extra postage and the cards take longer in the mail as the post office told me they have to be hand sorted because of the seals. So needless to say i didnt do them last year. ❤
Great ideas and hack. Love the wand. Cool to know that glue can erase pencil. You can also use bread if you bind it together like the glue. My father taught me that years ago. Love the earring hack
New to your channel. How adorable are you!? Love the videos and content. I'm a crafter , love anything crafty or fu,. Thanks for sharing 💞 Watching from Eastern North Carolina ❤
Good morning. These hacks are awesome. I was just wondering what is the container you used for the colored glue sticks. Also where did you purchase it. I am revamping my craft room and I am looking for new storage container.
Does anyone remember life before glue guns. My very first was a huge industrial thing that was so heavy! Cost over $50!!!!! I wore that thing out! I have done many of these hacks...even made jewelry out of hot glue!
Just an FYI. The US Post office doesn't like anything on the outside of envelopes that could jam their postage machines. Some won't even allow flat greeting stickers on the closed flap. They can and will return your envelope with a Curt Note attached saying they will not deliver it. 30 + years ago I used to mail items with an wax stamp of my horoscope sign. The Postal system is so mechanized now and they do not like to hand stamp or hand sort anymore.😢
Yes! For sure, I was going to mention this, glad I’m not alone in knowing this. Some people mail out quite a few Xmas cards too, so let’s hope others see this. I have a wax seal kit my dad gave me, a beautifully crafted handle with a metal stamper of my initial. I used to love using it. I’d light the wax stick that came with it and melt a few drops on the envelope then stamp away! You can still use these kits on envelopes you’re hand delivering or to dress up Xmas gifts/tags!💕
Didn't know you were in Texas! Me, too! Houston area for me. I once saw something hanging from my ear lobe. Thought it was my earrings. Until I remembered I wasn't wearing any! 😂 Still have no idea how it got there.
OMGoodness i almost died... watching you slip & sliding rock & rolling grinning & wiggling your funny self i loved it so much. Thank you i need a good laugh.
OMG the glue dot behind the picture frame so that it could stay still on the wall is a great idea. I usually put tacky tape and it tears the paint off. Thank you so much.
Courtney, your videos not only have the best DIYs, hacks, and crafts but the humor is amazing. Your reenactment of the clip from Tom Cruise's movie was the best demonstration for your sock gripees. 😅 all of your hacks were genius ideas. My least fav was the glitter stick. Glitter although pretty spreads everywhere. No thanks. One glue gun hack could be adding to the bottoms of either a chair or table legs for easy sliding, no noise nor floor scratching 👍🏼🙌🏽
I have very fine straight hair, and love to wear pretty barrettes and clips. They always slide out of my hair. I put a thin line of hot glue inside of all of them. No more fallen hair. Works great.
Hi thanks for sharing posting! I now have "see thru hair" thin falling out breaking yes pins barretts even rubber bands fall off... So my hair is always messy looks like it hasn't been comb... I'll try glue tricks on inside
Thank you!!!! I have the same problem. This problem has bothered me for YEARS. I just went to new hairstyle, and cannot keep bangs out of my eyes. Problem solved!
If you do use hot glue on clothing do so with caution and do not put in the dryer. When I was a teenager I had been gifted fuzzy socks with a little stuffed frog on the back of each sock. Most people would think they’d been stitched on, so I thought nothing to wash them in a small load of clothes. The little frogs had been hot glued on and when everything went into the dryer the glue melted and ruined several articles of clothing and I had to scrub the hot glue off the dryer drum. Be safe and Happy Crafting 😊
I have made snowflakes with glue guns that turn out really cute. Make large size for your windows or small for tree or package ornaments. Use glitter glue or paint. String or ribbon for hanging should be laid down before the glue.
Hey Courtney! Fun and informative video. I have one to add...you can use hot glue in a silicone mold to make small craft embellishments or jewelry. It's paintable too.❤
Love all of your hacks but the wall hole is best done with Colgate toothpaste. It passes the military inspection test and everybody knows they are tough to pass. Just saying.
You can use your glue gun to make a mask shape on a silicone mat or baking paper. When dry use old nail varnish to decorate. Easy custom mask for dressing up or a party.
While very clever, your post office WILL NOT think so!! Those envelopes will NOT be able to go through the sorting machines! Each envelope MUST be stamped/sorted by HAND! This will cause DELAYS in recipient receiving said envelope!! 😭 Sorry to be a BUZZ-KILL, but my In-Laws are former Postal Workers.
agreeing with Cynthia. Wax seals are beautiful, whether they are hot glue or wax, but don't put them on envelopes to be mailed.. If one gets missed and makes it to the sorting machine, it'll cause even more delays when the machine jams. Writing "please hand cancel" or using a hand cancel sticker can help, but that's no guarantee, and, as Cynthia noted, hand-canceling means longer delivery times.
@@cynthiadodge3089 Good point. All of my family and relatives are scattered across the country. Would putting a piece of foam or card board across the seal and into a larger envelope work? I just wanted them to have a break from the usual junk mail and bills.
@@bearg-ma9168-any piece of 1st-class mail, I believe thicker than 1/4 inch, must be hand-sorted. Cannot go through the sorting machines. At least that what the rules were. Best of ask your local postal carrier for advice. Show them the article in question. They will answer all your questions.
Thankfully your video was suggested for me!😊have some of these stamps from Shein👍can't wait to catch up on others you have-although I'm packing to move this month😳I have a craft supply hoarding problem😂
