Being a newbie I came right in using the designer edition but I am using the original cameo new from the box. Are there videos for that programming? thank you so much for tutorial as. They are very helpful since I am a visual learner.
I am trying to do this and have my colors grouped that are on top of each other however, it says" shapes are obscured by other shapes"? Also when you click on the red stars and then click on the tie, are you holding down the shift key or how are you doing that process so both items are selected? I hope you will reply.. I am stuck on a project. Thank YOU!
It's best to have the HTV pressed directly onto the fabric instead of on another layer of HTV. This helps prevent peeling and also avoids the multi layers of HTV from creating thick, stiff areas on the shirt.
I have the new Silhouette Cameo 3 and I am a beginner. I was wondering why my cutter cuts my vinyl HTV or oracle vinyl through the actual vinyl instead like I see in the videos.
I see so many people layering vinyl and the shirts can’t flex. It feels like a bullet proof jacket. When I do this l, the shrinkage sometimes is apparent when subtracting the later for the insert. This leaves visible, although small imperfections. If resizing the subtraction, it could help. I just need to figure it out..
@@SilhouetteSchool I’ve thought of this. I’ll try this evening using offset. Thank you! pS…. I like The Siloutte Software, is the Siser platform superior. I want to Retire my Brother Scan n Cut DX250 Disney edition and my Cameo 3.
Can you clear something up for me please? Why did you print the offset instead of cutting the offset out of the blue vinyl then layer the original star within the offset on the blue vinyl?
I am confused by this. Why did you cut the holes in the blue tie vs. just putting the red stars on top of it? Would have been easier and not have to worry about 'covering the hole'. Just curious.
To limit how thick the transfer is on the shirt and get the best possible application for the best stick. If you are layering multiple colors of vinyl over each other it becomes thick and rigid on the shirt and you increase the chance it will peel.
I have a question, I use Siser Easy Weed HTV, I usually do 15 seconds at 305 for the full time, that’s what it calls for, so for the first layer, how many seconds should I do? And how many for the second layer?
If you are laying HTV you want to tack every layer except the last for just 1-3 seconds. So if you have two layers you would press the first layer for 1-3 seconds, then put the second HTV color on and press for 15 seconds.
How do you create a multi layer stencil if you’d are going to be painting a wood sign? I have a client wanting to paint a wood sign of the London flag. (red, blue, and white)
I am wondering when I want to layer HTV, what do I placed over the project when ironing? Like what was that white sheet you put into your press before closing it? I am worried about melting the first layer when working on the second. Thank you!
Hey there! This is exactly why we set up Silhouette U! We have in depth videos, 1:1 help available and more! Check it out here: silhouetteu.com/pages/silhouette-videos-help
Caseyandme tv There's no printing, it's all cut out with the Silhuoette machine. The stars are cut out of the blue tie, the red stars are cut out of red vinyl and put in the cutouts on the tie, and the white stars are the t-shirt showing through the cutouts after she irons the design on the shirt.
