You can't exchange items if you buy online in store. Only if you buy in store with your receipt you can exchange. I called Dollar tree online that's what they told me.
@@jennyc8707 I have never had an issue exchanging items shipped to the store. I was told if you ship to the store you can exchange and that is what I do 99% of the time. May I ask what state you are in? I had an assistant manager tell me no when I picked up am order on time but I asked if she could double check because I had done it so many times before. She came back and said that it was possible but she didn't realize it because of something to do with the item numbers being scanned? Either way she was able to scan the items back into to the system for an exchange. But I'm sure individual stores or states will could have their own policies too. Also when you ship to store they don't charge your card until you pick it up your order. They give you a receipt that is just like a regular receipt you would receive after shopping in-store from DT.❤
Great video! I'm a manager at a Dollar Tree in FL and I just wanted to say here we get our trucks normally around 5am on Fridays although lately it's been Saturdays (still early morning) It's different everywhere so your best bet would probably be to just talk to one of the managers at your local store. You were absolutely correct about the next day being the best day to look for new items! Actually I'd say the first couple days since we obviously cant get everything out in one day. I know our goal here is for the majority of our freight to be out by day 3 after truck. And if there's a specific item you're looking for and don't see, definitely ask because it's very possible it's in the back and hasn't been put out yet. I have people ask me all the time about specific new items they've seen online and I'll look for them. Of course not everyone will take the time to do that but it's worth a try. I hope this helps!
I just want to say THANK YOU for your videos. I used to love my crafts, flower gardens, sewing, and much more. For the past year, I lost my ambition and excitement for the things I love to do. I was stuck in a low rut. I came across one of your videos, and had to watch more. I was so inspired, and found my way back to me. That means alot to me.
I love the roto rooter snake thing. Not only does it work great for drains, I use it to remove clogs in my cordless vacuum and it’s great for cleaning down inside the dryer lint trap after you remove the screen.
Play dough, slime, hot wheels, Yoyos, Lego wannabes, coloring books and balls are a must and great for stocking stuffers. I have 15 grandchildren so Dollar Tree is a must to fill Valentine bags, Easter Baskets and Christmas Stockings! For the moms and older kids there are hygiene items, craft items, and the best candy!
Oh yeah their seeds are great. Esp the zinnea and marigold boxes and packets. I've had zinneas grow so big that they had heads the size of dinner plates. And those flowers just keep going. I cannot believe how much they can fill in any spot or planter. Just absolutely gorgeous. :)
Hey. When I was trying to get pregnant I bought a bunch of DT pregnancy tests. I was just going to take one every day because I was impatient. I was about 2 weeks pregnant and the test detected it. I was happy with it.
I would love to walk into my Dollar Tree and find the shelves full of great products. Sad to say that never happens. I don't find 3/4 of the things I see on RU-vid. Always love your videos.
We're number one in the state for many reasons , but I must say, not all dt's have the same stuff. We don't order our stuff we sell. We sell what they send and tell us to. Just a heads up. If you have more than one locally, I promise! You'll find all kinds of treasures! Plus, there ARE SOME THINGS THAT ARE NOT A DOLLAR! WE DOO INDEED HAVE A CLEARANCE AISLE!!
Patricia Vavra A big part of the problem is greedy people trolling Dollar Trees and sweeping the shelves . These people race to every store they can on the first couple of days they stock shelves and they don't care they take everything . I live in Phoenix Arizona and they go from one end of this valley to the other . I asked a lady if she would share one of the at least 30 or more trays she just put in her cart , keep in mind she knew I was waiting to get one because I told her as she bulldozed me out of her way to get to them , she darn near lost her mind as she tells me no these are mine and don't think I have to give them up she went on ranting as I was walking off and the last thing I heard made me want to go back and just take one I DROVE ALL THE WAY FROM SURPRISE TO GET THESE . That is about an hour away from where we were. She come all that way to take everyone of maybe 10 different items , her cart was over filled she spent I believe it was around 150.00 bucks . This was an extreme example . I wish they would do something about it so the rest of us could get things . Maybe limit the in store purchases and make these bulk people buy online .
Love this video! Funny story...I live outside of Pittsburgh. It is a custom here to do a "COOKIE TABLE" at weddings. This is the defining moment of every wedding....How big and what assortment of cookies you have is the gauge for how successful the wedding was! The tradition is that people bake dozens of different cookies, often their family recipes, and give them to you for your wedding. Nobody really cares about the wedding cake...it is all about the cookies. My friend's sister and I both were married 11 years ago a couple weeks apart. We are both from Italian families so we both had A LOT of cookies. She went to Dollar Tree and bought all the clear decorative trays she could find for her wedding. She then let me borrow them...and I had 62 trays of cookies at my wedding! All Dollar Tree Trays! They are PERFECT for cookie tables. I still have some and use them for parties!
If you live near an IKEA, they have new dishes that are like .76 cents each and they have large serving bowls for $2. I bought enough for the family to do outdoor dining at that price.

I love the cute socks at my Dollar Tree in Hillsboro, TX . I usually buy the Men's socks because they fit over my calves better than the Women's socks ! They are so awesome and I usally use them as my boot socks!! Love watching all the new finds you show us !!
Two weeks ago I found those cupcake trays at my Dollar Tree when I went in at 8:30 p.m. on a Friday. I had to run in to get a gift bag and then I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw 12 of them sitting there just placed out. I literally freaked out like I thought that it was a setup LOL. I grabbed five of them excitedly. When I got up to the register the lady goes to me oh my gosh we literally just put these out. And I've been back in that Dollar Tree four times since then and they have yet to restock. It's probably one of my pride and joy moments in Dollar Tree hahaha
My favorites are the dish drying mats, baskets & vinyl shelf liner ( I line my baskets). I use the mats under things on furniture, in the cabinets in the RV (keeps the weather out) & in my drawers as liners. I use the baskets for paperwork, underwear or socks & under the sink. I LOVE DOLLAR TREE!! Wish there was one in Hawaii (2 dollars?) I really want to go home, but I'll sure miss my Dollar Tree!

I love your personality! And your little chuckles. I just want to share a tip with everyone. For some reason the last 2 houses we have lived in had clogged toilet issues, I think because they had first floor cement pads. Anyway, I squeeze some dish soap into the clogged toilet, any brand should work, let it sit for a few minutes and flush! For years I have struggled on and off with clogged toilets and had bad luck with the plungers. This works like a charm! I wish I found out all those years ago. Have a great weekend everyone! Oh, I've been buying those shopping bags for years! I bring them when I go to dollar tree.
I love DT for buying the items to go in the Christmas shoeboxes. You can find so many things that you can pack in a shoebox like toys, soap, toothpaste, socks, underwear, etc. You can bring a smile to quite a few children for such a small amount of money.

I absolutely love the Dollar Tree. Food , frozen food all kinds of GREAT things. I bought their thermal/cooler bags and they work great for keeping your food hot or cold. When I go shopping I leave them on my dashboard to keep the sun out and then in goes my groceries. Two purpose bags.
And remember Family Dollar merged with Dollar Tree so a lot of the Crafters Choice items are showing up in Family Dollar. For example those stencil Wheels. Each week I go into my Family Dollar I'm seeing more and more awesome items showing up in the craft section so both stores are really stepping up their values as far as items priced from $1 to $5 being really great for the money
I'm glad to know the DT still has the handled mixing bowls. I had one for years before I tried to make microwave peanut brittle in it and it pitted/warped so terribly. But I still use it because it doesn't have any holes. Even when it finally dies I'll use it as a planter outside. And I've had DT glasses for probably 15 years.

Them bigger grey/tan planters are really nice too. I always look for those every early spring. They can be used for a lot of things but then soooooo many veggies/fruits can be grown in those! Even carrots and such! :) The only thing that stinks is that seasonal comes out now waaaaaaay before theyre supposed to- sometimes thats the tricky part but if we pay attention as to when they clear an area out- it usually means the next seasonal/holiday is coming! I've been shopping at DT for over 3 decades- what a difference it is in to today i just wish timing wasnt so off with deliveries having us in that dang store more than we should. . 🤣

I purchased several of the adult hula skirts purposefully to use for crafts when they first came in; but I also found an accidental use for the green skirts. I forgot to buy Easter grass for baskets until every store was out. Dollar Tree was my last hope. The green strands were "grass-like" enough to work in a pinch.

I never find cool stuff like the cake tray, but I went to the store on unboxing intentionally just to film. If I wouldn't have been filming that day I never would have found them 😂
The net for stuffed toy hammock works great. I had one up in my kids room for years. Takes some trial & error to get it strung up, but works perfectly!

The past couple of years my dollar tree has had hallmark brand Christmas wrapping paper. It’s a wider and longer tube than the ones they typically carry. Heck of a deal! And it’s actually decent paper!

This was so great. Lots of insider tips I didn't know. I often have trouble finding items in the wreath and crafter sections so now I will try to go when they stock up instead of the weekend. Also I want to mention that I love their Christmas tins they are great for bakers like me to put cookies and other treats in and they have lots of different styles and prints.
THAT BOWL IS THE BOMB. Sending my second kid off to college and sending them with that bowl since they have a kitchen on their floor!!!! Each of my kids has one now!
Speaking of wrapping paper, IF you're lucky you can get name brand Christmas wrapping paper at dollar tree (in Canada atleast) and not the small rolls, the BIG ONES. It completely depends if old stock has been liquidated. I got 4 rolls of the Hallmark jumbo Christmas wrap for only 1.25/ea 2 years ago and I'm still working through the last two rolls LOL. I did notice that they had some last Christmas as well. It showed up in November. Good luck!
Great video. I will do what you suggested. I want you to check out the double sided foam tape. It comes in a pack of 3, and 3 different sizes. I've been crafting for 30yrs and this is the best product. I used to drive over 30 miles to buy this. Now my Dollar Tree carries it.
If you buy Christmas wrapping paper from a Dollar General the week before Thanksgiving, you get 135sq ft for $1.00. The sale is for any Christmas paper or gift bags $1-$3 for $1.00. They had this sale every year so far for the last 9 years.
At 7:42, you can see a pencil and brush organizer which is amazing! I bought it last summer and I'm absolutely in love PERFECT FOR ARTISTS! I wanted one for the longest time but all the ones on Amazon were 20 dollars and up and roughly the same size or smaller.
Great ideas, tips and you make dollar store shopping much easier with all your free info! Not many stores around unless I want to burn up my fuel budget quick. So I shop just one dollar store unless I have to go to an appointment near one and don't have a complainer with me ! Thank You for all you share to make our lives easier and less expensive!
OMG!!!!! I HAVE THAT SAME SET OF UTENSILS!!!!!!! THEY ARE SO UNIQUE. I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THEM to go with/along side of my new dollar tree flatware. I got service for 6 in the simple clear glass items. I wanted something that would strike contrast with glass and stumbled on those copper utensil sets on Amazon. They work brilliantly together.

@@crsbenningfield What day and time did you go? My local DT is as small as most 7 Eleven gas stations, but going the day after shipments and while they are unboxing ups your chances of finding the better items. The clips in this video were taken from 5 different stores over the past few weeks.

I have to order a full case or a minimum amount to come to my house as well. I actually opened a box at dollar tree yesterday to get the patriotic idk how to describe it it looks like 3 postage stamps on ribbon and I LOVE IT! I got looking at it and thought this is actually super cute. I should have grabbed two so I could keep one and do the craft I have in mind with the other. I have a can opener from dollar tree that is awesome! I'm commenting as I watch. That's why it is random 😂 fast forward a year and if Walmart didn't go up in price their bowls etc are now 29 cents less 😞 I have to stay out of there for a couple weeks. Sigh. I believe I got 750 pieces an awesome storage container that looks like a block, a book inside with so many build ideas there were other pieces like wheels etc. I can't remember if it was 10 or 20 but either way it's a very complete set and my go to bday present when my daughter has a bday party and the kid likes Legos lol. They are compatible. I don't like dollar tree plus. We don't have one the concept doesn't thrill me. The DT is the DT I got mad when five and below got their five and beyond prices. How can they still call it5 and below lol

The plant hangers are super simple to diy if you buy the twine, nautical rope, or even ribbon you can get more for your buck! Depending on size Twine- 6-8 Nautical rope-1-3 Ribbon 6-8 I do recommend double up with twine or even braid which is my fav.
I buy my seeds at Dollar tree & I absolutely love them. You cannot get better quality at such a cheap price. If you get there when they’re first out you will get so much variety!

You are RIGHT!!! The 4 southern Dallas County stores near me are normally ~60% empty, piles of dirty product on the floor, shipments still not put away by Saturday or Sunday...it's like first world/third world!!!

The slides at 7:00 could be jazzed up with some silk flowers or some other kind of bling. I remember decades ago, my mother-in-law had some like that with big silk daisies on them and my dog would run up to their house and bring her sandals down to our house and I would rush to try to get them back to her back porch before she got home from work. He loved those things!
😂 I never noticed they even sold drug test until I filmed this video! I must be easily entertained because I couldn't stop giggling seeing the drug tests next to the pregnancy tests!

omg girl, got the slides and they are sooooo freaking comfortable! it rained all day yesterday here in Tx and they were perfect for going in and out to take the puppy out for his pee rounds.... love them! and they do not carry the grass clippings inside the house like the other slides I have.. the Nike ones that all of us own to be exact. Different stores get their drop shipment on different days, ask the manager/cashier. The slides are good for house, beach shoes. Our DT has Hanes shirts short/long sleeves. They also have Bum Equipment socks, including athletic types. I was hoping to see some grocery items such as the black olives, gnocchi, almond milk and any other you may have priced out.
I absolutely love watching your videos, because you are so real, relatable, so funny, AND you know how to save money!😉 I always look forward to your next video, because you create the best DIY’s and give such terrific instructions, they are incredibly easy to duplicate. But as much as I loved this video, it just made me sad & frustrated. Because I live in the Midwest, our Dollar Trees rarely have most of the items you (and other DIYers share). Here in MO, we have 2 very large metropolitan areas (St. Louis & Kansas City), and I have not been able to find any of the new bins, plastic trays, most of the new decor, and most of the crafting items you have in your Crafters’ Square section, etc., in any of the DTs in either area. I used to get so excited after watching DIY videos and seeing the very cool things made from DT items, but after 2 years of disappointment over not having access to most of the necessary DT items, and even a dismissive FB message from DT, I have given up. I used to shop at a DT at least twice a week, but now I go about once a month & only for basic staples. I have even talked to all of my local DT managers, and they all say the same thing; they usually don’t get the products or if they do get something new, they only get a couple of cases and the items sell out in a day or two. Also, while you can order online, a lot of the items state they cannot be shipped to the store. So you pay for shipping which is outrageously high! I have MUCH more success at Dollar General & at Hobby Lobby during their 75% off sales. Oddly, while visiting my mom who lives in a smaller city in VA, I decided to check out her new DT, and I was dumbfounded to see such a huge store that was stocked with all of the items I’d been searching for for 2 years, and all of the new decor I’d seen in numerous DIY videos. I have no idea why a small city in VA would have so much while the DTs in 2 major cities has so little! Based on the DIY videos I watch and the locations where the creators live, it appears that DT focuses the bulk of their distribution on the southern states, the east coast & west coast, and the Chicago area. The rest of us are ignored. Having said all that, I am so happy that you are able to find all of these treasures and share such great DIYs, which I can usually recreate using non-DT items. Please don’t think I’m a “Debbie Downer.” I just wanted to share what many of your subscribers deal with when it comes to shopping at Dollar Tree.
I just want to add that yes Dollar Tree will buy back items in balk that you won't need for store credit. I do this all the time. Dr. Mama Jones here on RU-vid has said the Dollar Tree pregnancy test are really good, my youngest daughter used them for all 3 of her pregnancies. My Dollar Trees home decor section isn't very good because it's always sold out. I have been looking waiting for the photo frame banks and lazy Sudan's for year's. I only have 1 Dollar Tree within a 30 minute drive. I love your little laugh/ chuckles. Brightened my day. Take care, be safe, try to stay healthy and happy.
