I just had my first market as a vendor and I completely agree! My only goals were to make back the market fee and gain experience and I definitely achieved both goals. The best part of the market was simply the human interactions: children fawning over my sea creatures, fellow artists recognizing my craft; each friendly smile and hello was so wonderful. Plus, my booth neighbor who I ended up trading products with and got a really cool pressed flower bookmark from! So lovely! Really instilled in me that creativity and connection is what I live for.
Omg yess! First off congratulations on your first market!🎉 And yes I totally agree; the human interaction you’re able to get at markets is amazing! Being able to talk about your craft and learn about other people’s art is amazing! I hope you continue to do them! And good luck!! 🤍

Love your set up and I also love putting those mesh cubes together although you girls have strength clipping them quick, it takes me awhile because I have arthritis but I love how many different combinations you can make with them and that was a lovely venue you had your market in. I definitely agree with you, I do the markets because I love making and having that interaction with people, the money part of it isn't my main focus
Aww thank you so much!! 🥰 and yes those cubes are no joke! I always ask my sister to take them down at the end of the markets, they are so difficult to pull apart but oh my goodness they are definitely versatile!! And the experience of going to these markets makes it worth it too! ☺️🤍
