"Lateral" is behind the Mega grocery store in SJDC. We didn't discover it until our last night in town. Had we known about it we would have eaten there many more times. I had the Lingua and the shrimp tacos and they were amazing!

Captain Tony’s has excellent dinner. In Vita Italian restaurant. Sanchos on marina is a local bar and restaurant. Nothing to look at but good bar food and cheap! Mama Royal for breakfast. Metate Restaurant (expensive but if you have the Cabo Passport Card you get one meal free but there are menu restrictions for card).

Oh no sorry you had a bad meal at Solomon’s landing. It’s my favorite place on the marina. I’ve been several times and it was fantastic every time. We really love the Mexican shrimp cocktail. It’s huge with big juicy shrimp. Must try. They also have a Mexican combo that is big and shareable with steak, Chile relleno and an enchilada. It’s fantastic. I order it every time I go. Maybe give it another try!

One of the best steaks I’ve ever had and one of the best dining experiences of my life was at Solomon’s Landing. I was there in May with my sweet wife. She had an amazing pasta dish. We loved it. Sorry it wasn’t good for you. We will always go there when we get back to Cabo.

For Italian, you should try Salvatore G’s. Best meal I’ve had in Cabo! And I 2nd Tacos Gardenias…try the Molcajete. I agree with the Office. It used to be so much better. They are getting by on reputation and location, not the quality of food.

Wow! What happened to the Office? That place has been there for years! I remember several occasions going there for breakfast and ending up staying all day, drinking and eating! CUNCABO.

Pretty spot on since I have eaten in most of these restaurants. Like how you said the Office was like a US Dennys's That is correct and will use that line again. Do like the feet in the sand. Should have tried the Mango deck. Party place but the food is good for being on the beach.

Did you use taxis or Uber? Were the prices good for transportation? Did you go to Walmart or some other grocer to buy anything? I appreciate all the restaurant reviews thank you, was the water taxi expensive? Have you gone fishing in Cabo? Thank you

We took an Ubers when we weren't in our rental car and they seemed fairly cheap. We picked up a few grocery supplies at Oxxo since it was located right across from our resort. The water taxi was $10 per person. We have never gone fishing in Cabo but are interested in possibly checking it out on our next trip. Hope that helps!

We felt safe in Cabo. We also followed basic safety tips like walking in groups, being aware of your surroundings and not staying out late at night. 👌

Will be back in Cabo in 3 weeks. Our favorite is La Dolce. Totally agree that some of the marina restaurants cater to the masses so it’s not all that authentic if that’s what you are after.

Used to go to Cabo before the marina was popular always stayed away from there because it was American food. Very expensive. Always ate outside away from the tourist with all the locals in Cabo on the side streets used to go there when there was only one stoplight and there was no Costco and there was no shopping plaza at the marina that anyone living Mary could afford ha ha.

Here’s a list given to every gringo but should be an avoid list: Maro’s Shrimp House-literally the worst I have ever had anywhere. You can smell the bleach coming from the plates as waiters walk by. Rinsing seafood with bleach is an old restaurant trick to “salvage” old stock. Alt: Sancho’s Saturday shrimp boil. Real Cajun style peel-n-eat shrimp. Solomon’s Landing- expensive and not more than average. Alt: Campestre Baja Cantina/Tiki Bar- Not good at all. Alt: Cabo Cantina and for sushi, Koi Sushi in Walmart food court (not the in town Walmart) Salvatore’s- We call it “Salt-vatore’s. Not good at all but cheapsters seem to love the “big portions”…something said everytime Saltvatore’s is mentioned. I like that La Dolce is mentioned. We are there just about every week. We love the staff and wine selection. Mama Royals- Again, Campestre or Casa Sola. BTW, the chips get soggy in chilaquiles. They aren’t nachos, man. Rodizio- Popular with the all-you-can-eat crowd. Every single type of meat is seasoned with the exact same seasoning.

we have been in Solomon's Landing Los Cabos many times for many many years, we are ok with price increase with new menu, But their service has not been improved, in fact it's gotten worse, as a matter of fact it's awful, some of workers in this restaurant basically ignores you, food is/was awful and service we received Underwhelming, service us bad that we felt awful tipping waitress but we still tipped her, wish I didn't! there are many friendly restaurant in Cabo, just don't go here.
