it's always a delight to watch your videos kat, you can tell how much love and effort you put into them ♡ thanks for this, this'll really help me decide whether to buy the game first day or wait a little for a price drop. it's like getting the seal of approval from a close friend whose opinion you value haha
lmaooo i couldn't even fully finish the video before i went and preordered it. i usually just buy secondhand but i don't think i can wait for this one after all the things you've laid out here, sheepy especially got to me i guess 😭 i'm also way more impulsive now bc i'm under a lot of stress from work and uni and this seems like the perfect thing to equate to as self-care haha
Loved this! I got COVID two weeks ago and started playing Story of Seasons Olive Town because I needed something to pass the time but I was too Ill to play anything else. So happy to see a new farming sim to play next!
@@katlyncarter8890 I’ve hard a hard time playing Pokémon arceus and it’s a bit more friendly than the others. For just starting out rune will be good but try Pokémon arceus after you feel comfortable. Edit: Maybe try animal crossings after rune before Pokémon
I don't know I'm on the fence with this one. I like the farming and fantasy aspect but I don't care for marriage/romance and the characters look the same (pale skin, light colored hair/eyes) I wish it was a bit more diverse or customizable for the character you play as at least. But it still looks like so much fun. I need to check out more games like this.
Totally understandable! I like character customization a looot in games too, but I still found stepping into this world fun and their distinct personalities at least makes up for it a bit haha. Thank you for watching!!
Kinda on the fence about getting the game. I’ve never played an RPG game and I don’t have much experience at combat in games and I don’t really enjoy it. I know you can change the difficulty, but I’m still worried about not being able to do that part. Probably a little silly, but that’s a deal breaker for me.
The combat can be a breeze if you want to play it like that, basically click one button a couple of times and be over with it. Not sure about the later bosses but the first one was super easy. But at the same time, I'm not sure about later in the game, or how easy it is when it's on the easiest difficulty. There's a LOT more to this game than combat, and the story of the earlier games were amazing. If I were you I'd wait for a while and see if people are having trouble with certain bosses or progressing through the story ✌️
are you going to be covering the new Pokemon games coming late this year 🤔PS I got rune factory 4 and 5 to me I like 5 better and love playing with lots to do and crafting cooking
Aw! It’s definitely no secret that I love the genre, but I’ve already put more hours on this than a lot of my other Switch games that cost the same or more so personally I’ve gotten the value back with the enjoyment (and I’m not nearly done haha) 😁 thanks for watching!!
Look for a physical copy online or in store, no idea why but sometimes the physical copy is cheaper than the eshop, I bought mine, in store, for 475kr (~48 USD) while the eshop price for me is 619kr (~65usd). Most of the stores here sell it for 499kr. Still not considered "cheap" by most people but it's definitely worth that price and a physical copy can be re-sold if you ever wanted to.
