Hi Cheryl, we had a sudden snow here in Poland today too. The leaves on the trees were already starting to blossom, but the weather decided to surprise us. Easter decor is so beautiful😍 I love the way you picked up every detail of your flat. Everything is so minimalistic, very aesthetic and practical at the same time. Lovely colors Cheryl. You give me ideas. I am going to put some chocolate eggs in a glass box I have and I don’t use it. Here in South of France today it’s a summer day where I live, 24 ° C can you imagine that ? but tomorrow, it will be a spring day, only 14°C … 😉Take care🌸💕

Hi Cheryl, here in our corner of the world, we are enjoying full bloom of spring! Just the other day, I caught a glimpse of a delicate cherry blossom peeking out from its tree. Sorry! I understand that Finland might still be waiting for the full embrace of spring's warmth, but I'm sending my best wishes for its arrival to you soon. I find the longer day time gives me more energy in the morning, thus nicer sleep during the night. while I've been fortunate not to struggle with sleep issues myself, I empathize deeply with those who do. I hope that something as simple as fresh bedsheets might give you a more peaceful night's sleep for you. Take care, and here's to warmer days ahead. ☀🌱

Hi Amy, you’re so lucky to enjoy spring already! the reason why spring season is short here is because half of it feels like winter 😄 We don’t experience it in it’s full glory until middle of April. Emerging from darkness for several months of winter and setting the clock an hour forward by the end of March, it really throws everything off the rails. I have learned some coping skills that will hopefully get me out of this phase sooner. Thanks for visiting and the enjoy the warmth and sunshine of spring 🔆

I’m binge watching your videos today and I’m really enjoying it ❤. I noticed you are a fan of marimekko pieces 😍 I’ve always been curious about this brand but have yet to own one. I love watching the snow covered trees in your videos. Here in Missouri, it only snowed once (and I mean like real snow and not just flurries,lol) Although I could imagine how one can’t wait for the warmer weather to come after a long and dark winter. I’ve never been to Finland but it’s definitely on my bucket list one day! ❤

That’s so nice to know 😊 Marimekko being a Finnish 🇫🇮 brand is loved by many here in Finland. Almost every household probably has at least a piece or two of Marimekko. We get plenty of snow here and winters are long🥶….actually too long 😄

Ahhh yes, just when you thought spring is coming for real, winter is like, “nope, I’m not yet ready to let go!” 😂 Have you ever have kids knocking on your door? I haven’t had any experience yet, and sometimes I’m afraid, always thinking maybe I should get some treats just in case. I wouldn’t want to turn those kids away and say “sorry” 🙈

I had experienced it once and I was not prepared so they walked away empty handed 😄 since then I always have some sweets ready just in case, but it's very rare. I don't think there's any kids in our building so I don't expect them at our doorstep this year.

Hi, the tableware is from Asa Selection and the one I have is the Oco Ligne Noire collection. I bought mine from my local department. You can order them online www.asa-selection.com/en-eu but I think they might only ship within European Union. I hope that helps 😊
