i had intended to film a whole week of productivity but then i realized that a productive week is me sitting on the computer 24/7. i hope this vlog isn't too boring! i had to make it out of midterms first aha :')
today i went to add english captions to my video and noticed that youtube finally got rid of community contributions... this has been a huge part of my channel because i know many of you who watch my videos don't speak english and rely on the subtitles. idk what i am going to do ;-; it's heartbreaking that youtube would do this and it is unfair that some of you won't be able to enjoy my videos without subs. i can only speak english fluently and i wish there was some way to have others help translate my video like before.
but i do want to thank everyone who has ever helped to contribute translations to my videos. thank you for helping them become more accessible to people all around the world. i greatly appreciate all that you have done for me ;-;
i am sad but hopefully a solution will emerge :(
[EDIT] so i uploaded it to amara.org as some of you suggested (amara.org/en/videos/XR1o9d7v5...) and i think you can add subtitles on it there! if they are added, i can download them and post them on youtube. i am trying this out for the first time so i hope this works hhhhh
