My mom truly made Christmas come to life when I was growing up! I always look forward to being home for the holidays because her and my dads house brings me so much joy during the holidays. We stopped at a Home Sense when we came through Canada on our way to Boston (we’re West Michiganders) and I fell in love with that store! It’s so much better than our Home Goods/TJMaxx. I picked up a number of Christmas presents there.

I love your bookshelves. I saw in another RU-vidrs video she added the doors to the bottom, put some moulding on them and a crown on top. She also filled the shelf holes and painted. They looked custom! I love decorating with books. Nice big chunky home decorating books. I buy neutral colors and use them as a base/tray for my decor.

And also besides spoiling my little new puppy, I buy for my daughters two dogs, my dad‘s dog and my brother and sister-in-law‘s dog. I love to spoil these fur babies.

Your home is so festive. The snow falling outside is just perfect. It normally doesn’t snow here in North Carolina but when it does it’s usually not until January or February so seeing snow falling with all the lights inside and out is just dreamy. Holstein is precious. One of our sweet doggies passed away a week ago. We miss him so much. I usually give the doggies "treat treats" (that's what we call it LOL) for Christmas. I love the black lamp shades, I have stockings for my babies and they get treats in theirs with stuffed toys. The snow is so beautiful! we don't get snow very often here in the South, it was so good to see Holstein! The oval mirror is so perfect for your mantel, and I love the white throws with the balls. I did get some ribbon so I could have the curls, they turned out great! Your home is so cozy and inviting. This year we are starting a new tradition, I have 3 little grandchildren (girls) and we are decorating Christmas cookies, I am so excited then Christmas Day we open presents and have dinner. Hey Rebecca, I’ve been been binge watching your videos. Thanks to the referral of traditions by the season and I’m glad I came to watch you as you are so sweet and your decor is beautiful!! I love everything and Holstein is so so sweet❤ thank you for your great ideas on so many things!! We do have many traditions that I have done since I was a little girl and I announced 60 and we go to church on Christmas Eve and then have a big family dinner with all the Italian specialties, including homemade manicotti and homemade wedding soup and homemade rolls. Those are specialty items that we make every year and of course homemade sauce and meatballs and then we do some of the fishes of course many many cookies as I am from Ohio and we are big on a cookie table for weddings and graduations, so cookies galore for Christmas as well! Also, another tradition since I was a little girl and I pass it on to my kids and my grandkids now is we exchange ornaments and also buy pajamas matching of course for the families and the little ones and we wear them and take pictures in them as well 🎄🥰. Christmas Day is another day filled with traditions and of course Jesus is the reason for the season and we definitely celebrate that🙏🏻🎄

Love the decor! My mom was an Avon lady and we had that bell and several other Avon holiday containers. They also had candles for a while. I can still smell the candle in my memory. Mom would only burn it at Christmas.
So very cozy and inviting. My immediate family comes to my house for dinner and gifts on Christmas Eve. We celebrate My grandsons birthday. Then I spend the night at my oldest son’s house and have Christmas morning with them and then my sister always host Christmas dinner since they are 60 of us.
