OMG! When a child, my Mom made her own templates for our gingerbread houses and us girls had a blast making the gingerbread dough, cutting out the walls, roof, chimney, putting them together and decorating them with candy. My Mom made her own royal icing as well. After having my own children, I carried on that tradition and we made our own houses too. One year, I undertook the task of making a gingerbread house for all of my nieces and nephews too!!! What a time we had with that!! My Mom also handmade "sugar" eggs for Easter and she would put tiny little "scenes" inside of the eggs. She sold them every year at Easter time. They were so pretty!

I’ve already started doing gingerbread crafting and pulling in last years with this years them as well. I’m calling mine a “Sweet Country Gingerbread Christmas”. Great Haul! I went yesterday as well and got the gingerbread nut crackers and a stuffed gingerbread boy and girl. As well as fake candy for my crafting. Love your channel Olivia!

Hi Olivia! I was tearing up as you mentioned kindness and loving on others. It’s been a tough year . I am a school administrator and have had some unkindness from staff members lately. I just love you, Olivia! I love your energy, positivity, sparkle and sweetness. My gosh, I wish we lived close by each other because I would love to have a friend like you, haha! I need that in my life right now. Anyway, I am not sure what to call your Christmas theme, but it should definitely have sweet, cozy, and country in the name. (Maybe something like 'A little bit country, a little bit sweet and cozy Christmas'). I don't usually name my themes or decor styles. Mainly because I don't have any really. I just do what I love. Usually that ends up being a hodge-podge of anything and everything. Last year was the first time I really went for a theme all throughout my home. I went neutral because it was pretty and an easy thing to do. It's like with my outfits, I don't know what to do with myself or colors or patterns. So neutral was easy for me to figure out. I wear mostly neutral clothes now too because it looks like I know how to put myself together when I actually don't! 😄 🤣 Alright, wishing you a wonderful weekend! 🤗❤🤗❤

I absolutely love everything you found today! I think you have a “Sweet Cozy Country Christmas”! My main theme in my house is a “Rustic Cardinal Christmas” I use my cardinals I collect that represent my brother that passed away…I always see him visit me in my yard. DARN! I have been steering clear of Hobby Lobby, because I know I just don’t need another Christmas item, but now I have to go! I’ve been decorating my kitchen in a Christmas candy & gingerbread theme for the past couple of years, and I absolutely LOVE all the items you found! Cute cute cute!! We did a candy cane tree a few years ago and loved it. Last year since just us we pulled out the family ornamenys. So this year with grandkids coming we are going all out with the candy cane mixed with gingerbread. I need to get to Hobby Lobby and watch your last years video for more inspiration! Thank you, I ordered the gingerbread shelf sitters right away when I saw yours. We have a tradition with our 7 grandchildren to make gingerbread houses each year. We buy the preassembled ones so we don't have to worry about them holding together. We made a mistake and got the unassembled ones by mistake one year. Gingerbread Christmas!

I love all the crafts and I do them because it destressing . I did my dollar tree haul but I'm having to go to my other 4 to get more stuff. I'm going too try to go to Hobby lobby for some of your showings I'm doing for my kitchen peppermint and ginger bread . And my living ro is a Christmas tree with bows . I live in a 5th wheel RV so it's going to be fun trying too fit everything . Can call it red candy cane country Christmas . Thanks so much for doing what you do for all of us . Gingerbread/sweets is one of my tree themes and has been for about 12 years now!!! Started when my kids were little and just kept adding!!!! lol I have to have an entire room with all the stuff I have collected over the years!!! Hobby Lobby always has the best peppermint themed collections! Went last weekend myself and got the marshmallow sign along with some new candy picks and of course ornaments!!!!!!! " Sweet Country Christmas" is a good name!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

You could call your Christmas “Coming Home “ or “Coming Home for Christmas “. I love the gingerbread ornaments!! The faces are adorable 🥰. My granddaughter would love them! I’m going to get my daughter to go with me to Hobby Lobby when I go visit her for thanksgiving. Hopefully they’ll still have some good stuff!! I’m definitely going with my iridescent snowflake ❄️ theme and nativity scenes. I love iridescent white and shades of blue together!!! Next year might be deep purple and gold and my theme will be peace and joy!! I love 💗 how much you love Benji!! He’s so adorable 🥰
