Bark Ranger is a welcome engagement for dogs in these parks where they are normally limited or banned. It's fun for us (and Barkley) but I also look at participating as a way to give the Park service feedback on the importance of accommodating dogs as much as possible in National Parks. We were asked to evaluate our experience at Death Valley for the superintendent (routine survey) and I wrote tongue in cheek a response from Barkley about how much he enjoyed the park and asking about getting Bark Ranger going there. We got a nice personal note back from the Superintendent stating he would direct staff to look into development of the program. Thanks Katelyn and Scout for highlighting Bark Ranger.

I lived in Colorado for 7 years. There were elk in my residential neighborhood multiple times throughout the year. The “We won’t bother you as long as you don’t bother us” relationship prevailed. We would have anywhere from 10 to 200 elk depending on the time of year. Loved them!

That park is unbelievable! It's so beautiful! The elk are so curious about you guys! We went to Cherokee, NC once and saw probably about 100 elk grazing. The park ranger said that they come out of the mountains every night to feed. A Mommy elk was nursing her baby. Mom would move to graze and the baby would cry the whole time he was chasing Mommy so he could nurse again. It was so sweet! The crowd melted and went "aww". One of the coolest experiences we ever had! Nature is so incredible!

Good advice to check weather and water conditions before you go places. That's always good advice in the spring as water levels are generally higher. Yeah, I'd much rather encounter an elk when I'm in my car than face to face. So majestic and he seemed pretty calm so that's good. But yeah, you have to be careful. That trail is so incredibly cool!

In that the Winnebago 29NP is marketed toward those that want a rig that will fit in the majority of National and State Parks, we'd love to see a bit more of the practical side of things, such as campground details (sites, hook-ups, crowding), costs to camp, facilities, etc. Keep up the good work.

Cool park! Great adventure.the Elk are aggressive mostly in the breeding season which is September early October. Not sure when you were there. But most other times of the year they’re pretty docile, unless you invade their space. You guys stayed far enough away! They’re a cool critter! Very large, the one you saw was actually just a few years old, pretty young.

Excellent video and cool National Park!! On a different note so close on RV Unplugged. Full disclosure I was cheering for Chris and Aaron (same state and Aaron and I have something else in common) but you guys were next. I would call it 1 and 1A. You had the greatest line of the entire show. I have never shot anything, well except for a crossbow! I have shot everything and never even seen a crossbow. Are they even legal? Anyway it was such a joy watching you guys and hearing your thoughts. I am also glad you four are good friends. Looks to me like just a bunch of great people. One of my trips to Isle Royale I was roughly 15 feet from a moose. They also are a huge animal. One last tip for you guys. Luckily I have never been seasick but talked to a tour operator that said you need to start taking Dramamine a couple days before you get on a boat so it can work into your system. He said the people that do that with a history of getting seasick never got sick on his boats. Looking forward to the next 41 parks.

Dan, thanks so much and appreciate all the kind words! Chris and Aaron are wonderful friends, our RV besties, and we realized recently that we've spent over two months traveling together since the show! Also, it's ok to cheer for them. We've said this before, but if you're going to lose a competition, at least let it to be to great friends. ♥️ Ok, Moose! We've had several run-ins with them, and you're right. They are huge! If you check out our Alaska series, I think we show footage of a Moose drinking from a hot spring in the Chena Hot Springs episode. That moose couldn't have been more than 50ft away from where I filmed it (somewhat safely behind a low wall near the locker rooms). Amazing creatures. 👍 -Howard
