Oh that is beautiful..i saw it last night & was able to recreate it myself!! Instead of pink i went with light blue & blue fower foil..love love it

I love that pink, it shimmers along with the silver tape, i always have problems with tape, it always stick through top coat, iv done 2 coats before and still have probs, its like the tape is thickish.

Gorgeous pink ay! Some tape is quite thick, maybe try a rubber top coat? Try to 'float' your top coat, and if you do 2 coats, make sure the first one is either a tacky top coat, or give the nail a quick buff before the next one.

I'm going to try this today! It's sooo pretty and feminine! I'm going purple tones! I love this video and YOU! You're fun to listen to and that accent!! Pretty please, make more nail videos with foil. I'm just learning, so today will only be the 2nd time I've done it. The first time my topcoat smeared the design. Then I read somewhere to put more glue over the top of the foil too and cure it. So that's my plan this time :)

Have fun doing them! 🎨 I highly recommend a foil gel, instead of a foil glue - it is a total game changer!! I've never had top coat smear the foil, that could even be related to the glue underneath 🤔🤔

@@MissJosNailCo Thanks!!! Someone said to put another layer of glue on top of the foil, cure it and then do gel top coat and cure it, and so I did that and it worked like a charm!! I wish I could show you a pic of them! Thanks again for the video and the how-to!!!

@@MissJosNailCo french tip,half and half,patchwork with that 70s print would be awesome. Maybe making snakes out of the snake print foil or leopards out of the leopard foil. you know Advanced nail foil lol. I have looked up videos for this and have not found any like it.we have been tortured by nail foils for years and we have finally tamed that beast.

Tip for people im the usa like me young nails has alot of the same exact foils she uses in some of her videos;-) I just wouldn't use their foil glue it sucks. Use a different one.

I Love this nail! is the striping tape sticky or does it just stick to the tacky layer?

Thank you! ☺️ The tape is sticky, but you definitely need to make sure it is fully sealed in or it will peel 🙃

What do you use to wipe the tacky layer off?

I use isopropyl alcohol (prep solution, cleanser) The top coat I use is no wipe, so just cure and done!

@@MissJosNailCo ok....thats what i thought. Why is it then that after i cure the gel then wipe it with the isopropyl the polish comes off? No matter if i cure longer or not it takes off some of the polish. Its really annoying! 🤔

You can use foils with regular nail polish, but you'll be better off using a foil glue than a foil gel to adhere.

@@GuadalupeRamirez-ii7mt Ah OK! Yes you can definitely use it with regular polish! Make sure your colour coat is properly dry before applying the foil glue.
