I'm sure gypsy doesn't refer to just one ethnicity, I am aware that some have called themselves Rroma, but that refers mostly to the nomadic tribes of Indian descent that live in Europe, gypsies exist all over, and they're known for a nomadic lifestyle mostly, and come from different ethnic backgrounds. In some places it's associated with bohemian/hippie lifestyles. Heathcliff was referred to as a gypsy in the book, yes. @@kevinandorsusie
