Did you get your t3? How do u like it. I'm trying to decide between the t2pro and t3.

@@bobn1605 Yes I received it and used it enough to say that the T3 with sharp resolution and images is much better than the T2Pro if it is used for looking outdoors or hunting, it is also good for looking at electronic boards but it needs to be focused well. If the price is the same with the T2Pro pick up the T3.

@@cleanunbox ok, the first app is interesting because the Xtherm App is very basic, you can not set a temperature range. I think if you set temperature range starting at lets say 30°C you can detect animals really easy because the other space arround stays dark in the app, maybe i make a mistake here but that should work. So you have to register to discord? i never used discord. The xtherm app has some problems with android 10, some users report that the video record function give a black screen. Maybe you can just record the screen in android?

Sure. but if there is any problem just tell to the maker and they look in to it.

When connected to USB, it's actually recognized as webcam. So you can get basic functionality even without app (but you will not know exact temperatures).

Indeed the app name can be changed any time. still under development. Would be no point announcing a name and than it changes in a few weeks from now.

No that i know of. Daytime camera and thermal camera lens distance makes it impossible to make a universal app for that. Every phone is different.

@@cleanunbox I understand that, I'm not an android developer but very familiar with computer software and I'm pretty sure something can be cooked for that purpose if someone really get to it, like after an app have the overlay functionality, settings can be added so each user can actually fine tune the two cameras to align and combine the two separated images, instead of writing just one universal app that works out of the box for that matter. Also a shortcut to change the emissivity sensitivity would be great too. It sucks that this thermal camera is really good but the software developers of infiray are not cashing in by adding this feature. 🤔 by the way the infiray search app works with the p2 pro and allow to use the zoom and sensitivity too.👌

@@cleanunbox On the other hand FLIR developers have this feature but I have tried those and I do like the infiray better, sadly doesn't have it.

As of now the app that comes with it. Usually if users have problem with the app is because of different android implementations of different phones.

@@IMPCGaming Not yet. most people experimenting with prefabricater IR lenses from aliexpress. But comeone would be really dedicated to make it happen. talking about DIY

@@jeffjones4629 If you have USB C port on your PC its an easy thing. If not than just get any USB C to USB A adapter.

They are free softwares made by channel members based on the old SDK. If InriRay makes big hardware change and the old SDK not supported than not. usually works just fine.
