I love watching your videos whilst market prepping! As for stuffed animals / plushies I think sunflower turtles, bees and maybe little sprouted creatures could match the theme of your business!
Because of my hands, I use blanket yarn primarily. I would suggest you try just making a square, small blanket, or rectangle hat to practice and get used to the yarn. Use a bigger hook. Practice samples with hook sizes and see which ones you like best. Don’t give up! Plushies seem to be the rage now. Good luck! Love your channel! You have such a sweet personality!
You are doing a great job to have almost 6k subs already. Your so personable and down to earth. Your products are exceptional!! Consider doing fall flowers with pumpkins…they will do well as people are really into decorating for fall. Love your honesty and the information you provide…it inspires others. Keep doing you…it’s working!!! Stay safe and be blessed❤
I do not like Bernat blanket yarn at all! It's so hard to work with, but yeah- plushies are very fun to do! Good luck! And wow the boutonniere idea is so cute!
February and March are the slowest months of the year for sales, so don’t beat yourself up over that or even believe that the items you were selling, didn’t. Again, if you were selling the same at a Christmas fair, I bet you’d have much different results!
the tiny strawberry thing at the end LOOKS AMAZING WTF I LOVE FRUITS please make berries or lemon! *ok literally commented right beefore you showed the lemon and blueberries
So I used to just update my shop randomly, but I’ve done shop updates the last 3 times and I can say updates really do help me bring in more hype/attention to the shop! It also helps that I have reps/promoters to help promote the shop and share updates to get more reach to other accounts.
I really love the update model! Especially for knit and crochet, because the items take us more time to make, sometimes its nice to be able to release a full collection and not worry about needing to make anything to order and you can separate what you make for markets so you're not scrambling to fill an online order.
Hey! Of course everyone will throw suggestions at you but you do you! You do what feels right and what works for you! Keep in mind that Halloween and the fall astetic is HUGE on top of everyone buying for Christmas and such. So just an idea ready.... Bootiful Bouquets! 👻 I think you could be so creative with that! Regardless you got this thanks for sharing its exciting for me to watch you grow 🥰 We can easily get lost in the glorified social media world so don't kick yourself! People will want to support you for being you! 🌟
I sell crocheted flowers at market and had the same issue with keychain not selling well problem. I am thinking to turn them into something related to Christmas. Such as Garlands or ornaments
I'm really interested, like, I crocheted so many beautiful flowers that you inspired me to do but I had a hard time setting them properly on the table, they didn't get much attention and I'm sad because they are so pretty :c So I'm looking for inspiration and you always help so much, I love watching your videos (Specially while I crochet hahaha ♡ )
Trying new things is hard girl!! I’ll have suggestions to do this or that and I’m like 😊”totally awesome idea - I’m on it” and months later 😅 - I think you have a unique flower shop based thing to stick with tho - I watch a lot of RU-vidrs and they’re all doing plushies and it very trendy - yeah do something with the flowers - how about fruits with faces? 😂😅 I totally know that ticking clock feeling - I guess since winter shows are so few I guess that one that turned you down must have had so many crocheters already 😊
Just an idea for poly beads: if you find anything at a thrift/secondhand store that’s filled with them you could recycle/reuse. You could empty them into a sturdy pillowcase, tie it up, then wash it.
When you go to a convention you could make purple roses and market them as Masumi Hayami's roses from Garasu No Kamen. It's an older manga/anime but it's still very famous and beloved and those roses play a big part in the story :) I remember you mentioned doing something similar with Milord's roses from Sailor Moon Btw do you also have your patterns on Ravelry? It's huge for knitters, not sure for crocheters.
Have you looked into the glass beads that people use for aquariums to try in place of poly beads? I've used those and then I surround them with polyfil to add weight to projects :)
