This digs up a memory for me that actually has nothing to do with Minecraft. Back when I was like 5 or something, my mum had a screensaver that showed a low-res jungle with a thin waterfall cascading down the middle into a lake. Occasionally, flocks of pixelated parrots would fly across the screen and fish would swim around in the clear water before heading off-screen again. My little sister and I would take our flower-patterned umbrellas and sit in front of the beige brick computer, watching all the animals and listening to the lightly bit-crushed music/ambience, pretending that we were sitting in an actual jungle and bird-watching. There really wasn't a lot for us to do as toddlers in the late 90s, but finally the memory feels nostalgic and cute to me all the same.

I’m at my Grandmas house that has an Xbox 360. Once we went there, we would pass by my Grandpa, play with cousins and family in survival. Now, things have changed. Although we are stuck in where the tutorial still exists and a lot hasn’t been added, I wouldn’t want anything more. Listining to the starting music remembered me of those times, I wish I could greet my Grandpa and do things as always. Now, I remember the good days. Listining to music while fighting zombies, protecting the village, always getting back up from our beds, having fun. Now we are all grown up, still playing the game, not as always. It’s nice to remember those times, picking up a controller and playing. Practically every one of them ran out of battery, waiting to be charged. This made me realize that you don’t need to stop your fun, you can continue. School doesn’t prevent that, barely nothing can. Tommorow morning I’m gonna play with my brother, finish what we started. Minecraft is beautiful, and I can’t wait to wake up from the same dirt hut, with the diamonds we hid in “secret rooms” I can’t believe how much has happened, thanks for bringing back memories. It’s videos like these that cheer me up, make me forget the bad things, just vibe and have fun.

I had a cousin me and him would always play this game. Unfortunately he passed away Duo to cancer. We played this every day. Id walk to the hospital with my mother to play with him. Where he died I made a drawing of his Minecraft skin and then buildeda small statue of it I put both of them on his grave. Wow, you just reminded me of that one Zen garden I built in an SMP a long time ago. Used to sit there whenever I wanted to read or something. I used to sit there with a friend too. Good times
