All of these projects are stunning! I absolutely love the patriotic mason jar lid flowers. I been looking for the star fabric. Hope I find some in a hurry. My husband is an Army veteran and I would love to make an arrangement like that to set in his rehab room. I really think that he would enjoy it. He had numerous strokes. He may be improving daily. Sometimes it is just hard to say. He can feed himself slowly, but struggling to walk. He is still on puréed foods because of his swallowing disorder now. Praise God he can eat. Cause the doctors were talking about a feeding tube. I didn’t want him to have one because of memories that I had when my mom had one before she passed. So, I prayed and worked with him daily in the hospital. The doctors said that he could not go to rehab until he was able to feed himself. So I went to work, I put his spoon in his hand. Then would push the spoon into his food. Slowly getting him to raise his spoon to his mouth. I showed the doctor that he could do it. Took him some time but he could do it. The doctors also just wanted to send him home with hospice. Just to keep him comfortable. I told the doctor NO! That he wasn’t ready for hospice. I told him Sir, I worked with patients all my life. He is not ready for hospice. That is what I mean. It’s like they are lazy and just don’t give a darn about their patients anymore. It’s obvious that money is what they are after. Cause, I worked with him in the hospital. And got him to rehab. And between God and me. We are giving him courage and motivation to STOP giving up. And he now wants to get better and go home. Thank you so much Lord for all that you are doing and have done for my husband and family! We love you eternally! We can’t thank you enough. But, we put everything in your hands gracefully. We know that you are our healer and we know that you can heal him from the top of his head to the bottom of his toes! Once again, Thank you Lord!!!

You are so good at these crafts! Every time I watch a video of yours, I end up saving the video so I can find it later to try to copy your ideas! I want to try to make these patriotic flowers! I'm so happy you made the mason jar lid flowers. I have wanted to for years and am inspired more than ever to make some. The crock is so sweet. I think the tiny rusty stars give it that extra country feel.
Tracy you are a genius with color matching! For your inspiration do you look at different magazines or like Pinterest? I’m asking because I have a hard time sometimes with colors with crafts! You are still a genius it’s just I wanted to know what was your thinking so I can think like you! lol❤️
That is a hard question to answer. I think I get inspired by so many things that I see online and in nature. I usually pull colors that coordinate with the project I'm working on and go from there. It becomes second nature the more you do it. Pinterest, google, social media, in-stores shopping, Etsy are the places I get great inspiration.
