It is not a brass horseshoe in the black frame It’s called Prabhavali which is seen behind gods & goddesses in the temples. I hope objects are not just seen and used for decoration but knowledge behind them is also of value too.
It’s neat and clean and energetic at the same time. It’s really a doable one and definitely gives ideas that can be replicated or customised by others….
Beautifully done, knowing that this is in Bombay where every micro square inch is expensive *this room feels very light and airy* which is super relatable. Not an interior designers or some filmy walals house which is exhibited and displayed over and over. Thank you for sharing. The shaharanpur chairs adds a classy touch
Beautiful house. Loved the choice of fabrics and pieces of furniture, and yes , as you rightly said, there is beauty in imperfections. Most of all I like the way you treasure some special gifts given to you by your sister...the vibrant crayon etching of flowers and the painting that is integral to a Bihari wedding, the chairs custom made by your mother, and the way you have given them pride of place. A nice place to call HOME!
Love every part of this house. It looks warm and inviting . Loved the beautiful nick-nacks collected from different places . They add to the charm to the house and make it a warm home.
You have done up your house beautifully…. The brass arch you called horse shoe is called Prabhavali. It’s sacred and is there in all temples and big statues.
She said there was no theme butt predominantly Green was the theme. Multiple green furniture pieces & art work also had hues of green, even the cushions had green in it. Nice smile cute bright house.
