I'm reading Babel right now and it's pretty extraordinary. The only thing that might turn off some readers is that it goes HARD into etymology and nothing everyone is a word nerd like me. 🙂 I'm fairly sure that you're going to love it!

I'm so glad that you've ordered The Society for Soulless Girls. I don't think that book gets enough hype. It has by far the most dark academia vibes that I've read in a book in a long while. I hope you love it! As always, I loved this video. I love watchng videos where I get to hear reviews of books I've read and recommendations of books I've not read. I think you could like "When all the girls are sleeping" by Emily Arsenault, it has similar vibes as "A Lesson in Vengeance" but with more ghost vibes 👌 I've "In my dream I hold a knife" and "The Society for Soulless Girls" in my TBR and whenever you talk about it even when you haven't read it you keep hyping me!! I hope you enjoy the atlas six, I really enjoyed the book when I read it last year, it definitely wasn’t a five star read for me because the beginning was a bit slow and confusing, but it really picks up and i ended up giving it 4 stars. I think it’s a great book, but definitely not a favorite of mine.

I figured out how to make my very OWN book marks and personalize them to my liking lexi, U get a peace of paper and the size U want it and get some nail polish and just dot on what U want, I have been doting flowers and U can do it any color that fits U... if U have the nail polish color U love. Have you read C J Cooke's book, The Nestling? This is the author who wrote The Light House Witches. The main character is a girl named Lexi! It's a Gothic novel set in Norway.

Ok these aren’t dark academia but they are spooky and thrilleresq. My fourth graders read these last year and absolutely loved them: Fuzzy Mud by Louis Sachar & Scary Stories for Young Foxes by Christian McKay Heidicker Fuzzy Mud is the real thriller out of the two when a bully goes missing in the woods after a fight with his victim and his body is found two days later covered in the strange fuzzy mud that the victim threw at him. The fuzzy mud is spread by people tracking it out of the forest and it continues to claim victim after victim. The original boy who threw the mud at the bully is being affected in his arm and it is spreading. It is up to him and his best friend to find the cure before it claims everyone in town and quite possibly the world.

I couldn't get through They Never Learn. If there was a plot twist, and it's not a spoiler for people, please let me know what it was. I think I have an idea. I will say the professor was crazy at least in the parts that I read. Let me know what you thought of it.
