Ticking the 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 season off my list, we visited 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 to catch a glimpse of the sea and farm life ~ 🌊🌾
'Twas a relaxing experience and I was greatly amazed how I handled the heat and humidity. The sky was clear and in vivid blue during noon and everything about Fukuoka screamed slow living that made my mind and heart at ease~
The first stop is 𝐘𝐮𝐟𝐮𝐢𝐧 ~
Yufuin, is a refined, up-market, onsen hot spring town in wonderful rural. The town boast a wealth of cafes, restaurants, shops selling high-quality locally-made handicrafts, boutiques, art galleries and small museums. We visited 𝐘𝐮𝐟𝐮𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞, a very small and narrow space filled with shops selling various themed merchandise from Studio Ghibli, Peter Rabbit, Heidi and others. I'd say it is overrated and the only thing I enjoyed is the cat cafe and the udol meal.
Anyways, see you in the next videos! We have visited better places in the latter leg of our summer trip ⸜(* ॑꒳ ॑* )⸝
Always and in all ways,
Maki
