@crunchy_almonds pretty sure she said she has a boyfriend in her sketchbook tour, but she used to be gay, but isn't anymore. So maybe she's bi? Idk I'll support her either way lol.
Can someone explain to me step by step simplified in the comments? I wanted to make these at home but I'm a little confused! Also for other earrings if I need to apply glue would that be before or after baking? Thank you so much
Get some clay (their are plenty of cheap clays at Walmart) Make a small cylender like shape Make a small flat circle thing like in the video Make a crowned pyramid thingy like in the video Then connect them all by First connecting the circle thing and the pyramid thing then connect the cylinder at the bottom Let dry Then paint how ever you want Then let dry And coat with mod podge
Step 1. Get airdry/no bake polymer clay. I love to use a kind from target for only 3 dollars, used to make ornaments. its very soft and moldible. step 2. take a small peice of the clay, a ball about two finger widths side by side. get one more slightly smaller that that as well. step 3. use the bigger ball and carefully mold it into the shape of however you want the mushroom cap to be. step 4. stick the earring hook on top of the cap. step 5. hang the cap by the hook of the earring on a rope or wire. let the cap fully dry and mold a stalk for the mushroom. (mushroom stem). mold or glue the stem onto the dried cap. step 6. let the whole thing dry by keeping it hung up. step 7. when fully dry, begin painting! paint with any colors you wish the mushrooms to be. step 8. hang the mushroom to dry. step 9. when paint is completely dry, add a clear coat to make it shiny and more protected. then, done!
heeey great video! i have a question i was hoping u might be able to answer tho: i am planning on making air dry clay (DAS) earrings and i was wondering whether painting them with acrylic paint is enough of a protection from water because i obviously dont want them to get all soft again if it starts raining and they get wet. i am trying to spend as little money as possible on the supplies if its not essential :)
hmm idk, because it might depend on the brand of paint and all that ! but id say just to be safe, see if you can buy some glossy fixative, my fav is $4 from walmart !!
I’m starting a small clay earring and stickers stand for helping my parents out and save money! This video inspired me very much! Also, will the paint come off if we put it in water?
Ok so i'm a bit late but hopefully anyone anwers. So i want to make earrings from polymer clay but idk if it's safe to put the earrings in the oven with the little metal thingy that makes the hole that you put the hook in(sorry if it's not understandable I'm not good a explaining and englush isn't my first language)
pretty good video! i needed something relaxing to watch today. just one observation: watch out when u will go put music on ur videos. in this one u putted 2 music's at the same time. that's it ♡♡
