In Japan while having ramen, I noticed the chef always make it an extra effort to shake the liquid off the noodles, hence it tasted very al dente, very delicious.

Amazing review! I love Tsukemen more than traditional ramen as well. Please try Sanpoutei’s Tsukemen when you have the time, no need to review it. I think that’s the best one in Singapore.

i have been to ramen champion, my first probably was 5 to 6 years ago Price is pretty affordable and there are various types of ramen and soup base to choose from, i would hands down recommend this place to everyone

Went here. Tried the Taishoken Tsukumen and it seriously doesn't disappoint. The broth is amazing and thick and the noodles are al dente and catch the rich broth nicely. The egg is good, the chashu and bamboo shoots are great. Must order

went after watching this video. totally disappointed. did not expect the best ramen in sg but it turned out being one of the worst. staff wear like ramen chef but all they did was microwave and serve. lesson to self, dont trust any paid promotions.

Can you please try Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King @ Orchid Hotel, Tanjong Pagar? That's the best ramen in my opinion and hope to have you try it.

I've been to this place during my visit to Singapore. Had the stamina set if I remember it correctly (student budget) I have to say, the Ramen here is worth an applause. Their broth and noodles are spectacular. Just right on flavour, right on chew and right on the money. I even tried ramen made by a Chinese establishment and came to an understanding; could differ from experiences although, I believe If you want to know a shop run by Japanese cooks, taste their noodles and the broth, and if it's Chinese, taste their Pork (Char siew). Happy eating!

Since u rate no1 for Taishoken, I went to try today. But disappointed as they poured all the stuff onto the dipping sauce. It was not separated as what you have shown here. Noodle is a bit hard. The only thing nice of this is the meat. It was soft and tender. I also tried Menya ryu miso soup. This is really nice but most probably will not go all the way there to eat this again. The 2nd one is the Genshi sushi. Your recommendation is really good! And another one at Paya Lebar. I tried 3 times but always did not get to eat it as the q is too long. I need to wait for at least 3hours. So I have given up :) Hope we will get the same stuff as u when you do the recommendations :)

If I am not mistaken, you are referring to the one I had in Tokyo, located near Sugamo station. Yes, I would be curious to know if the taste is the same. Even Singapore’s favourite food done abroad does not taste the same.

My favourite is Buta God though.. i would say maybe try their Hell Ramen because the spice balance out the sweetness and give it a really interesting mix of flavors.

man i really Love Tsukemen! ever since i tried it near Shinjuku station 2 years ago! will check it out thanks Gihib san! Edit : I tried that Tsukemen. Its hands down the best i have tried in Singapore. ( The close second is Opposite Medi-ya in Great World city )
