@@RenatoRevisadas i actually agree! i think the forced deadline and sense of community makes you grind on the game and forces me to deal with problems as soon as i run into them! there's not much wiggle room in game jams lol
This is pretty impressive stuff for only 48 hours! The Kenney jam is a great way to work on actual ideas and gameplay, because you don’t need to worry about art (and in some cases music). I’ve been doing game jams for a bit as well, so it’s nice to see other people starting out. They can be so fun if done right! P.s. I noticed how your avatar is Kiki, nice to see another Ghibli fan
Just finished a game Jam too. Notes I took from that is to have better time management and to limit my scope. I had so many ideas for my game that it took a long time until I made levels and music. I worked until 4:50am on the last day to submit my project
time management is probably the biggest lesson to learn from jams. i've cut many things from games, luckily it's early in the game. my VERY FIRST game jam i failed because i wasn't familiar with godot!
