So I only want to weigh in on the parents keeping son from prom video. In short, NTA. Not at all. By creating a punishment only to go back on yourself does not correct the behavior, and its nasty behavior at that. All it does is allow the boys to understand they can get away with anything. It's like breaking a horse. If it bucks you off you MUST get back on, if you dont it will NEVER be rideable. The same with correcting behavior in children, you MUST be consistent and confident, otherwise you will NEVER be an authority figure they respect or listen to.
