1. You did a good thing telling the social worker the truth. 2. Weddings are about love between the people getting married. And ONLY the people getting married. It is selfish to use a someone else's wedding as a backdrop for a proposal and make them feel bad for saying no. 3. Dump him. Not worth even a second of your time. He doesn't love you and is only trying to benefit off you. 4. Always properly communicate and never be quick with assumptions. 5. I would be embarrassed to have a friend that ditched his partner at a hospital for a football game. Leave him. Not only does he have 0 concern/respect for you. He lacks intelligence if he thinks that a hospital is a hotel.

As a kid who’s family is in the midst of adopting my cousin from my crappy aunt when I heard the first story I felt sick cause my aunt would leave my cousin alone in the shower leave him alone and basically refused to buy him new clothes as if he wasn’t growing at all he was wearing 3 months clothes when he was five months. It has been a few years now and my cousin is now three and we have a court date to adopt him now. This woman didn’t even care about him during her pregnancy smoking and drinking a bunch. Children are still developing humans like anyone else not slaves not animal and not something you can put on a shelf to look pretty for a conversation when people come over. In the first story the woman was in the complete right place in this story. This is kind of a rant but still moral of the story don’t have kids if you can’t take care of them
Yknow, as a foster kid, now I cant speak for all of em but say if I had been put in the lady from the first story's house, Id ask to be rehomed or whatever. Its an option. AND, Im not some broken kicked puppy that will slave away for whoever Ive been placed with just because theyre providing me with the basic necessities. Further more, say someone comes from a worse situation than mine, ya cant just take advantage of a child like that. Its wrong and disgusting.

Yeah the 5th story I would blame the husband he left his wife at the hospital because he wanted to see a football game is the football game better than her I would have dumped his ass like how could you be so mean it's just a stupid football game!!! for story 3 and story 5 both girls should dump their boyfriend's as soon as possible. for story 3, he doesn't do much for you while you do things for him. for story 5, you need to do more than dump him. ruin his life n stuff. you were sick and all he cared about was football and called you selfish for something you couldn't control
Yes weddings are about love but they are also about the person who is having the wedding there is only 1 day in ur life when u get that experience or at least for most people only 1 day that u can get married so it is about not anyone else in the world and I think anyone would say no to that offer

Okay, I have a story! So this is my mum's story! My mum's words: "When I was 12, I went to **** highschool, and was only in year 8. So, I was young. Once, I was walking my best friend off to a car at 15:30.i suddenly heard a blood-curdling scream from the woods about 3 minutes away from where i stood. I RAN. I ran back to the highschool and stayed in my homeroom for the entire break, traumatized from the scream. When I went Into my English class, I sat next to my kind-of-friend. (For the safety of others, all names have been changed) (let's say her name is Katie) I noticed that Katie had a large Knife cut across the side of her neck, it was shallow, but very long. A man had run past me and seemed in a hurry, he came from the forest.It was at this point I realised that Katie had screamed. I asked her after class and she broke into tears and explained her story. She said that the man that ran past me had pinned her on the floor in the woods and pressed a knife to her throat.He told her not to scream or he would do her harm but she knew I was there near a police station, (the police station was next to the forest) and decided to scream her guts out. He ran away and caught her neck on the way. It was the most terrifying thing that ever happened to me." -Mum
