Anyway thank you guys so much for making feel a lil better about my body I am not the skinniest person nor big in the middle but I am insecure of my body and watching this I was like smaller waist is a trend now? But you all said we are perfect the way our body is and if you say that then I am going to start not being insecure thank you so much boys especially Hooney because he was giving those motivational words lots of times but thank you all for helping me understand and feel better about my body!!☺️ I love ya guys this channel is always positive and just awesome thank you once again!!

So corsets original purpose wasn't to shrink your waist, they were to support your breasts. They just do so using your torso as the support while modern bras use your shoulders

Actually the only thing that's bad is lacing it too tight. Wearing a corset alone is not & can actually be very helpful. Especially if you're top heavy like myself. Corsets are actually very helpful for posture correction. I actually use one frequently to help with my posture.

I don't think girls actually go around with a corset that tightened, especially if it's a cheap corset from amazon, it would be extremely dangerous, high quality corsets made for a specific person would be way safer if tightened that way, that's why wearing corsets in the past wasn't dangerous and it didn't hurt

wasn't dangerous ? Girls died of bad blood pressure and fainted all the time. Long time lead to deformed ribs as well..Doctors came to realize this and that is why to remove corset became kind of like a moment.

@@karin_artistic yeah but EVERYONE wore corsets, it was the only 'decent' thing, even pesants and farmers... Only the Super rich had a tailored corsets. That costs money, and more back than then it does now. So many made their own, or inherited from people who grew out of theirs. those videos are typically only about those that could afford to follow fashion trends

I actually wear a corset regularly, my reasons are that it provides better support and it's good for my posture, as someone who is often hunched over drawing, preserving my spine is pretty important. I make sure to not tight lace it though.

I wore a corset out to the club once & almost died! 😂😅 I regretted it instantly lol. Women (especially celebrities) wear similar things when they work out called waist trainers. Basically smaller corsets and I dunno how they do it cuz I could barely breath when I was hardly moving 😅

If you couldn't move & it hurt to breath, it was laced way too tight. You are supposed to be able to move & breath in it fine. If you want to try a corset again, leave a bit of space for your body to expand when you take a breath & I recommend getting one actually tailored to you because that is considerably safer.

I used to costume people for Halloween and theater productions. The girls always wanted a corset. Once the corset is tightened, it takes about 20 minutes before you can breathe normally and without discomfort.

Yeah, you have to take your time to let the body adjust before tightening all the way, and it shouldn't be used like some people in the video, corsets are not bad for you if its use the right way 😅

Honestly, corsets aren't that dangerous if you know what you're doing & can be very helpful for things like posture correction. I actually use a corset for my back issues. But it is preferred that if you are going to use a corset, get one that is tailored to you as that is the safest option. Also, you aren't supposed to tighten it to a point were it hurts. If you can't breath, you're doing it wrong.

Me personally, no corset actually fits my body correctly. They are usually too loose... So I'll usually take like a belg or something and wrap it around twice and it works just fine. But they are so sweet for saying they look good without them!
