gonna share what i think about this to u guys: so in the start of the video is balvenie’s mom. it seems that she is very popular, and many people adore her. a rabbit comes in and it looks like he’s confessing his love to her. the mom feels the same way, so then they got married and then the mom got pregnant. the father (rabbit) was either tired of waiting, didn’t love her anymore, or didn’t want to have a child so he left the mom. the mom was very sad when he left. the mom soon gave birth, and its balvenie! (also i just noticed something. I think the father was literally a rabbit or something and thats how balvenie got her ears. idk 😭) i think the mom died after, maybe the people who used to adore her started a riot with her, so like they burned her (pitchforks and torches) because i see her melting somewhere at 0:31 , 0:32. after that, balvenie tried (more like forced) to make the people adore her (probably the mom’s dying wish, or the mom actually didn’t die and forced balvenie to make people adore her) even though she hated it. balvenie grew very popular and in school, it seems like her classmates hate her because of her popularity (1:01, rumors spreading around about balvenie. 1:07, people are giving her those nasty looks) at 1:26, balvenie is holding an “enter” button from a keyboard, symbolizing a gun, and she looks very given up. - (! This theory is from Kiraly !) The mom is most likely forcing Balvenie to be this pretty-perfect-popular girl. That was probably the mom’s dream, but she ended up failing it, so she forced Balvenie to live her (the mom)’s dream. ^ thank u for the theory :D - This is an edit, meaning I have more to tell for you guys! At 1:43, listen to the lyrics, “She just can’t help but be this way, she lost her true self long ago”, and also remember that Balvenie likes killing people, the smell of blood, and that she’s a little… cuckoo in the head. maybe she wasn’t like that at all before, until she was forced to please the people around her, leading her to go insane. in 0:48 (or 0:47 , 0:49), you see balvenie dancing, putting on a fake smile, then you see this thing in her throat, meaning that she is silently screaming, shes in pain. in 1:56, you see balvenie behind a dead body whose head is chopped off. im guessing thats her mom maybe, but it kinda looks like balvenie, and balvenie is happy. then in 2:20, it looks like tineballan because she wears black nail polish and has surgical marks everywhere, and you can see the person has these markings. also, this person is wearing bandages i think? tineballan also has bandages around her arms. -- thats all i have for now :D thanks for reading and for the other theories in the comments!!

Well I have an interpretation for a story. Balvenie's mother was popular media figure. Balvenie's father left her while she was pregnant which left her depressed with an only hope that her daughter will fulfill her unachieved dreams. I assume, that wanted her to become an idol like herself, because we see her mother looking on tv and seeing her daughter there. We see her taking pill and then her distorted version talking with her daughter in her head. I don't really know if it's a metaphor for suicide or drug addiction, but mother is definitely not alright. Balvenie is been pushed into life of idol by following her mother instructions or simply fulfilling her mother's dying wish. Her mom is dead anyway because on 0:54 she holds memorial photo, and, i guess, tries to fake admiration (like a cool daughter for tv). But, in reality, she hates this, she's performing happiness on stage, while constant work and pressure put on her in a young age is killing her inside. Not only this, but she happens to face with severe cyberbullying and harassment in school. And as you may see this clearly drives her insane. There's also a shot I really like where people still putting her decapitated body in makeup, top tier symbolism, love it. And what follows next is I think Balvenie getting rid of her inner self in favour of ideal image that was created for her. Instead of a traumatized child who she really is she's fully embracing this cutsey doll persona as her only identity just to stop feeling pain. At 1:55 she literally kills her other self! (It's not the other girl look at the haircut and little x's) BUT AT THE VERY END we see Tineballan's hand picking up image that she left behind. I think it symbolises that Tineballan is the only one who starts to see through her facade. It also can be a start of their friendship😊. Ah, what a cute girls I hope nothing bad happens to them💖💕💖💫😊😉🙃

단순히 고어로만 이쁘장하게 표현하는게 아니라 이쁜것♥︎과 내용을 섞어서 짬뽕이 아닌 환상적인 조합으로 탄생하는게 너무오지고요..... 언젠가 모든 영상 보면서 해석할 수있으면 좋겟네요.... 아직 해석은 무리인.. 💦 너무 감미롭고 최고에욧...💖💖

이야기 전체적으로 봐서는 발베니의 부모님이 있었는데 아버지가 떠나고 그것때문에 로제 디 블란체에게 왕따당하다가 자살한? 그런 느낌이네요 지금 우리가 알고있는 토끼귀 발베니는 어쩌면 환상속 발베니일수도(뇌피셜입니다)

Here's my interpretation of this. Balvenies mom was in a short relationship with someone who she put too much trust in, and when he left her she felt really lost. So when she gave birth to Balvenie she ended up living through her child. Making her child the person she never was. Which made Balvenie dependent on the persona her mother created for her. So when the persona started melting away, she felt like everyone stopped liking her. And then tried her best to fit back into that persona and when she couldn't people started to treat her not so well. Desperately trying to fit in with the persona she just found herself lost and melted.

학교 끝나고 후다닥 왔답니다 ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅠ 캔들퀸이라니 너무 이쁘잖아요.. 퀄리티도 날로 느는듯.. 발베니 이야기가 잘 풀어진거 같아요🥺❤️ 이상한 나라 느낌도 드는게 역시.. 최고예요

Its weirdly terrifying, adorable and depressing at the same time

some things i noticed upon rewatching: -when balvenie is shown in a school uniform, she does not have her bunny ears - possibly a symbol for how she's repressing her true nature? -balvenie's mother is shown with diamonds over her eyes. i have reason to believe that diamonds are connected to wilful ignorance, violence or both, as the texture also features heavily in the Baby Sister video. balvenie herself also has instances in this video where she has the diamond texture over her eyes. -to follow up on the last point, the diamond blindfold is also contrasted with the "many eyes" imagery that balvenie, tineballan, and i believe ardbeg have shown in the past? not quite sure what this could represent though. -It is shown at some points in the later half of the video that balvenie's not just being held up by puppet strings - they make up her whole body and wind around her skeleton. This is most prominent during the scene where she attempts to kill herself with the enter key, showing possibly that she feels she has no autonomy left. -Also during this scene, I feel the Enter key symbolizes cyberbullying. it's been shown before, in the melody meme i believe? that balvenie was a popular figure whose fans/friends turned on her. i also believe this was rose de blanche's doing. -speaking of rose de blanche, she shows up not only as a high school peer bullying balvenie in this, but also roses and her signature textures are shown coming out of the gun when balvenie attempts suicide. -i believe the ending of this, with the paper, symbolizes balvenie falling into "madness", a world of her own doing, or possibly whatever it was that led to her becoming somewhat immortal. tineballan is shown picking up the paper of "normal" balvenie, which i believe shows the point in time where tineballan started befriending and paying attention to balvenie (this was shown in the melody meme when they started to bond over art and tineballan started influencing balvenie to be a bit more delinquent). -while i don't think the balvenie/tineballan relationship is a healthy one at all, the more we learn about balvenie's backstory, the more i'm aware that they're both unhinged XD would love to learn more about the stockholm syndrome-type feelings balvenie has towards tineballan though, as this is in my opinion a much better explanation than just "balvenie's a yandere who won't let the object of her affection die". and i want to connect this to the clear evidence of zombies in this world somehow. -fantastic work jo_sipu! i love this so much :)

엇 1:08초에 로제랑 같이 저번 캐릭터 만들기?영상에 나온 보라머리 여자애가 나오는데 분위기로 봐서 발베니를 욕하는 것 같네요? 배경은 학교 같은데 이러면 로제, 발베니, 타인발렌, 보라머리 여자애 모두 같은 학교를 다닌 게 되네요! 그리고 1:53초경에 왼쪽에 크게 나오는 눈알?에 just imagine 이라고 쓰여있는 것 같은데 이건 그 이후 나오는 장면들(로체를 죽이고 웃는것)이 발베니의 상상이라는걸까요? 그리고 마지막에 종이?사진?을 집는 사람의 발과 손에 실 자국이 있는걸로 보아 타인발렌인 것 같은데 이건 뭘까요 죽으려는 발베니를 도와주게 됐다는 의미..? 해석은 어렵지만ㅎㅋㅋㅋㅋ 나름 본 것들이라도 정리해봅니다 개인적으로 보라머리 여자애 너무 오랜만에 봐서 어어..! 어어 쟤 걔 아니야?!? 하면서 흥분했어욬ㅋㅋㅋ +추가로 왜 발베니한테 토끼귀가 있을까 했는데 앞부분에 그 이유..? 가 엄마는 인간이었는데 아빠는 토끼였다 이런 식으로 나온 것 같네요! 근데 아빠가 진짜 토꼈네요 세상에

When I saw your community post I was so excited!! It turned out so beautifully creepy!

WOW THAT WAS AMAZING!! i just finished my exams so this was honestly a treat 2 see :') i love the pastel colors and the sort of 'cutout' and 'paste' effects u do to draw attention to certain features!! plus u know exactly just how much to distort a character in order to make them unsettling but still on model ^^ theory time starts now okok!!!! so first scene seems to be balvenies mom who was some form of royalty, she got married to this guy but he left her when she grew older,, she was devastated by this and so she pushed all of these unrealistically high expectations on her daughter balvenie to be a diva and be center stage,, balvenie tried to be popular and lovable but she ended being bullied for it, her mental health deteriorated and she started losing more and more of her sense of self and identity because she wanted to be 'pretty' like her mom said, she ended up pushing the people she cares about away and finally when she had enough she killed her mom and it sort of enabled her to continue carrying on the path she set out for even if the one who forced her into it is gone cuz. like. what else can she do? i also think the hand in the last minute is tineballan's and shes found an old picture of balvenie presumably before she became the way she is now,, either way this is very interesting and AAAAA balvenie is my favorite so seeing any content of her is a special kind of treat
