The Ben 10 style of magical girl you were probably thinking about was like the earliest type of magical girl where the young girls become adults and have different jobs. The most popular of the genre/pioneer is probably Minky Momo!

For sure. 🎀 The reason I thought of Ben 10 is because Kitty is limited with her career choices. She only has a set number, so that’s where that comparison came from. 😂

Love how the CG animation attempts at emulating that stop motion frame rate, but it was capable of finding its own voice with the new characters almost reminiscent to animal crossing 🥰🥰🥰

YES SAILOR GAURDIAN HOPE IS TALKING ABOUT MY FAV HELLO KITTY SHOW!!! Also something you forgot to mention, is that pinky in Rio are actually from a Japanese exclusive Sanrio series known as Sanrio characters pon pon jump! If you want to know about pon pon jump it's a variety show... Also I haven't been able to watch the full video yet, but I hope you have some fun things for the merch section! There is Hello Kitty super style specific merch out there.

2:57 when I saw this transformation, it sort of reminded me of Minky Momo, since (like Hello Kitty) Minky Momo transforms into a grown woman that is a certain profession (like a flight attendant, police woman, firefighter). Shugo Chara also comes to mind when I think “Magical girl with different forms“.

omg I love how this show pays homage to the idol/job magical girl genre. I feel like I haven't seen one of those in foreverrrr (I don't keep up with many magical girl anime outside of Japan, but I'm pretty sure there are some in other countries. Don't quote me on this bc I haven't seen them). Classics like Minky Momo and Magical Angel Creamy Mami have such an impeccable aesthetic idk why more ppl don't make anime like thisss. Happy to see Sanrio of all things doing this style of magical girl!!!

Her transformation are similar to a Korean-chinese cartoon called Rainbow Ruby imo. The main character named Ruby and her sidekick Choco, going into a magical realm(?) called Rainbow Village where all of her toys in her bedroom being alive and lived their lives. Shes transformed with her Rainbow Roller into an appropriate clothing to solve problems just like Hello Kitty. The clothes was appeared on her transformation too. I recommend to check the show though

I love the magical girl transformations! 😍 Almost makes me wish I could afford Amazon Prime 😆 Those final two episodes - when everyone was freaking out about Kitty leaving I thought it was because she was leaving forever, and that's why the show was ending. I used to watch a hello kitty show were kitty, mimmy and and an apple fairy go on magical apple adventures, it even had a season where humans were there. And it's not eppisodic it has a plot. It was a great watch and I hope you'll talk about it someday

When I saw the title I thought you were talking about Ichigoman. I think Ichigoman is also called Power The Kitty lol. Which is more of a Kamen Rider Hello Kitty than magical girl I guess. I like Hello Super Stiyle but I feel like the new characters are boring I feel it would be better if her actual friends are here like my melody, kuromi, cinnamoroll, pompompurin, chococat, tuxedo sam with a voice this time, pachocoo, and dear Daniel, would make this cartoon series better.

2:11 isn't this the cat girlie with goth lolita aesthetic I saw on pinterest this days? Edit: I was going to search up but....no she isn't I thought they actually featured her in the show but just the design and personality are the similar and somehow they are not the same character. Is weird to think they almost copy and paste a character instead of actually using the character in question. (And the character IS from sanrio, I don't get why do not put her)
