I finally bought myself a Dutch Oven last year and I love it! So I think Kendall will really enjoy it. And the Recipe binder for your mom is so thoughtful. You saying how hard she is to buy for brought back wonderful memories of my husband's grandmother. Every year, she asked for the same Christmas gift--a box of Whitman's Sampler candies. One year, we thought we'd do something else and we got her a beautiful blouse. She was very appreciative, but wanted her Whitman's Sampler. We went out the day after Christmas and got her her Whitman's Sampler. We lost Grandma a few years ago and I still miss her. She lived into her late 90's and was just as sharp as a tack and had a wicked sense of humor.

Another cat box idea that is also good is a large plastic storage box with lid. Get one big enough for a litter box to fit into. Cut a hole into one end for the cat to enter. When you have to clean it, just remove the lid. Mine has really helped with the smell.

I just bought that exact Dutch oven in red a few months ago. I love it. It’s larger than yours. I’ll be interested in hearing how you like the footrests. Good luck with the liter box. My nephew has a programmable liter box, very expensive, but it tells him I’m his iPhone/iPad when his cat uses the box.

Great presents, Renee! I am sure everybody will love them! Oh, guess what? Today I bought a gift for myself on Amazon USA! Some noise cancelling earbuds I had my eyes on for some time! I just wanted to read the reviews, but Amazon had an amazing discount on them and actually delivered them to Romania, so I couldn't resist. I paid half the price on delivery, but it was still way cheaper this way than the same product sold in Romania on an Amazon-like platform or on even on Amazon Europe! Actually, I paid half the price compared to the price on other platforms. On the other hand, this nice present to myself will arrive some time between January 3rd and February 2nd 🤣.

Renee Guess what? I found a Fur Daddy I think what you call a Chomp chomp to pick up pet fur. I was a bit dubious but oh my gosh, I just rolled my lounge mat and filled the container twice with cat hair. Whoohoo. My new favourite toy. The vacuum doesn’t pick it up well as one cat has fur that sticks to everything. 😺

I'm like you Renee I hate looking at smelling cat poop. As soon as my two cats do thier business I scoop the poop lol get it gone. Thier litter box is the biggest I can buy because like the B girl I have two love bugs one of which is a big ol' Maine coon. It is a covered litter box with a see through door and an odour filter in the top. It's my second one of the exact same make/kind because Alex tends to break them when he does the litter box. He's too rough lol.

@@WELCOMETOMYCURLS I know Renee... it like a train wreck... you don't want to look but you can't draw your eyes away... and there is... too late lol. Renee I don't know if this will help but you get litter freshener ( you sprinkle it in with the cat litter when you change it...) litter tray liners ( like bin liners you can just lift everything out. No muss no fuss, replace the liner and litter, kitty is good to go again) you get carbon filters that absorb odour... and as a last line of defence Fabreeze air freshener, every house cat Mom's best friend lol short of throwing open all the windows of course. I love my girl fur kids but OMG... Cat's stink lol can you tell in 60 years I've always had cats. I was brought home from hospital as an infant to Mum's cat and got one as soon as I got my first flat/apartment. Always had 2 together for a little while 3 and they always live 19.5 years with me for some reason except my one and only boy. A tuxedo boy called Pepe... he lived 26.5 years... my point is I know litter trays and all thier accessories lol xxx I also looked into a self cleaning one and was put off by the exorbitant prices they were asking... cheeky manufacturers lol xxx

I'm giving my man Alex a super king size complete bedding set in teddy bear fleece material as he is always cold as he has Reynolds which is a genetic circulatory disease. I'm always hot so I'm going to suffer in bed for his comfort. Merry Christmas honey bun and I'm getting him his first really nice Japanese knife as he loves to cook plus nice little bit n bobs. Oh... You know your children have reached full adulting when we start giving them kitchen items for Christmas. I'm always looking at my kids' kitchens when helping to cook with them and if they are missing what I think are important items or tools I make a mental note and they get those as a gift. That way when I'm cooking there, I know I can fully function. So is the gift for them or me?
