3 months ago, my husband passed away. The very next day, I opened my door to get my milk in and found a bag with a sealed bowl of stew, a flan, and a little box of biscuits (cookies). Also, a little note saying,'When you are grieving, this is a reminder to eat'. That stew was the best stew I had ever tasted, and the flan was wonderful. After a day or two, I found out who left it and went round to thank him. It was the start of my healing, and, even now, he still makes me stews, soups, and pastry products. He is not a Christian man, and he doesn't proclaim to be anything other than a man who knows grief. In his way, he showed kindness to me, more than I could ever pay back. He used his talent for cooking to help a person in need. At a time, they didn't even know they were in need. Every day, I thank God for his blessings brought to me in a bowl of stew when I needed it most.

Welcome to the Tea side Olivia. I've never liked coffee, but strangely, I love coffee ice cream. One of my favorite teas is Bigelow Vanilla Caramel. Yogi brand teas are quite nice also. Favorite crafts today were the checked pumpkin and the candle. A tip for the baby blanket pumpkin is to double your thread or use upholstery thread. Have a blessed day! 🙏🧡

i bought the cricut about 4-5 years ago and im challenged by the programing it with my phone or ipad. i only use it when i have my granddaughters to help me. i know i should try to get over this hump!

Oh my goodness, lady! The pumpkin sign is so adorable. I want to recreate it, but i dont have a Cricket. I was thinking about hand lettering it or using stickers. It will be so cute in my living area. Hugs and prayers to you and your family.

Hi Olivia, I love these fall crafts,especially the pumpkin patch sign and candle.I like coffee with a little milk in th morning and decaf tea in the evening(it relaxes me).I think one of the best examples of serving,was my Mom.She gave of herself tirelessly. I remember how she comforted me when I was sick,chicken soup and all. Now I and we(as a family) do our best to serve her,she has several health challenges,but she can still pray for us and give us an encouraging word when we need it!❤️

I love my silhouette. The hardest part is picking the design and making sure my machine doesn't screw it up!Expressions vinyl has a great transfer tape that works great on painted surfaces. I highly suggest it!

These are all great. My favorites are the blessing sign, the pumpkin patch sign and the candle. I like coffee and tea. I like my coffee in the morning and herbal tea at night. I remember while I was in the hospital a mother from my daughter's softball team prepared several dinners for my family, where all they had to do was heat it in the oven. That was so kind of her considering she was a single mother with her own challenges. Thank you for the reminder that we are here on this earth to serve. Have a blessed weekend.

Good morning Olivia. The check pumpkin is cute. Maybe, sometime, just do Gold checks. The burnt orange color of the pumpkin would look great with alternating Gold checks. Have a beautiful weekend.😊 Also, double thread or quilting thread ( nylon), is stronger for pulling to gather your fabric.

If you double your thread it usually not break. I have gathered many items over the years and it has never broken when I double basic sewing thread.

I’m gonna look for those stickers at the DT.. love the candle! I decoupaged some flameless candles last night but I love the ones you did. I really want to do a big plush pumpkin pillow but I know I’d break the thread. I might try with dental floss. Idk YES GIRL NEW GROUP. If you get the other one back you can always either keep the new one as a back up or deactivate it.

I have a Cricut and love it. Jennifer maker has good tutorials on RU-vid. And small tip your transfer tape seemed very strong, sometimes I fuzz mine on my shirt so I won’t pull off paint or get stuck on the vinyl…. Love that pumpkin patching . ❤

Lovely video! Thin fishing line works great to make those fabric pumpkins! Very inexpensive and you get a ton! I enjoy coffee in the mornings and herbal tea in the evening! ❤

I love the pumpkin in gold check. The orange with all gold would have been pretty too. I just can't like the black and white anymore. Blue and white is pretty too. I drink cinnamon tea in the morning for blood sugar control.

I once agonized over what to say to a woman who had miscarried. I settled on "how are you doing?" She began to cry and said "you are the only who has asked.' I learned that that day that sometimes the simplest thing conveys that you care. All the people she knew and no one else asked how she was. Yes, I was nervous about what to say, but just showing concern was all she needed. She said that if she never had another pregnancy, it was okay because she still had her healthy 4 year old daughter to love.

I print words and other things out on velum paper and then add those to my candles. You can't see that they aren't actually made onto the candle. I usually cut them to the shape of the top of my candles. Try it 🙂

Hi, Olivia!! I love tea, as you know. Flavored herbal teas are my favorite. Twinings Christmas Tea is one of my faves!! But, you can only find it once a year, between Halloween and Thanksgiving. Once it's gone, It's gone. The grocery stores usually have a special boxed section of it in the aisle. You might find it online, also. I love to make fabric pumpkins!! They are fun to make. Lots of different ways to embellish them, too. Your pumpkin patch sign is cute. T4S!! 🍁🌾🍂🍃🌻🍎🍄🐿

My faves are the Blessings picture sign with your Brother's adorable family picture and the candle are both so cute and look so high end! The picture sign would be a great gift for your Brother too. I’ve done so much for people that have taken advantage of my kindness and generosity. I’m not doing that anymore. I will volunteer to help feed the homeless etc and things like that. I’m not going to be helping people on a personal level like i have.
