By the way, if you are able to read in other languages, the saga by JJ Benítez makes an interesting read for an avid reader like yourself, I think there is a USA translation. The first book is Trojan Horse : Jerusalem. I got addicted over 20 years ago. I read it in Spanish I know that there are translations in French, Portugues etc. They are not religious books at all. I will see if I can get some from your list in other languages.
