I love this, two of my all time favorite RU-vidrs doing a collab together. ❤ I first started prepping my cleaning list and all my decorations when I saw Tori’s marathon video she put up this year from last years xmas and then I have started but not finished decorating when Brianna’s part 1 video came out. Hey Tori! I have a 2 yr old and 7 mo old, so I’ve been trying to start new traditions. One tradition I’ve always done is watching the Christian nativity scene and reading the scriptures about Jesus’s birth. I always feel so warm and grateful and joyous when my family and I sit and remember the Savior. My kids are too young to understand but hopefully one day they can appreciate it ❤🎄 I love watching your videos. Everything is always on point. I try and start decorating Nov 1!

Everything looks amazing! I don’t decorate until the weekend after Thanksgiving. Our one family tradition that has been happening since I was a little girl is having a Christmas get together for a appetizer dinner, reciting /reading‘Twas the Night befor Christmas (my grandmother use to recite it by memory and was very theatrical with it. ). We read the birth of Jesus out of the Bible and play games. We have hosted this event for 23 yrs now. We love spending time with our family.

Love how everything turned out! Tell Lewis he did a fantastic job building your shelves. We go to several Christmas parties. Play games like left right Santa, where we all stand in a big circle and someone read’s the script pretty fast so it’s hilarious everyone passing the gifts back n forth. We love paying the dice game called left right center. So fun. We love driving around looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights, , go to church, eat a big dinner with the whole family. Visit friends and take baked goods n gifts. Love Christmas, it is truly the most wonderful time of the year ! Celebrate Jesus birthday 🎂🌲🌲🌲🎅🏻🦌

Tori, when I was a child, my Mom would never put Baby Jesus in the crèche until Christmas morning. Jesus was born on December 25th. She would have us take turns putting Jesus in the manger. It was one of our family traditions. Your house looks beautifully decorated.

Hi sweet lady. I am a mother of 3, 8 grandkids and one great grand. We started a tradition about 6 years ago. I have a notebook and each of us Wright a letter to ourselves to look back on. I pack it away then each year we bring it out. The kids have grown so much and looking back on the letters is so funny. Love your decore.

My children are grown up now, but when they were little we had a tradition of reading The night before Christmas before they went to sleep on Christmas Eve. I think they really enjoyed that story. Thank you for showing us your beautiful home and decorations.

Soo glad you bought the Santa picture! He looks great on the mantle! So warm and cozy! My tradition is putting the Christmas decor up on November 1st, I want to enjoy it as much as possible! My baby boy turned one this year so our new tradition will be wearing cozy Christmas pjs, watching Christmas movies, and enjoying milk and cookies on Christmas Eve! One of the best traditions I remember from my childhood is when my uncle used to dress up as Santa. He had a natural Santa type beard ( but we never put two and two together 😂) My other uncles would go up on my grandparents roof and make it sound like reindeer on the roof with jingle bells. Then Santa would make his grand entrance with a bag full of gifts and treats. Best memories of Christmas EVER!! 🎄🎄🎄

🎄our tradition is we celebrate our Christmas with our children on Christmas Eve and have shrimp and crab legs. We started this when they were young and now they have wanted to continue this tradition even as they have grown and have married and have kids. We love this tradition and hope to continue for many years to come. Happy holidays

Everything is so pretty and cozy! My children are 18 and older now. Our tradition started when they were little. We bought or made an ornament for each of them every year. Our Christmas tree is decorated with these ornaments. To this day, all 5 of us enjoy looking at all of the ornaments and all of the memories as our tree goes up.

Our family tradition is ,having a small dinner the day before Thanksgiving , after dinner we set out to pick up a tree, but this year we will be using my old fake tree, but we will still set her up, But we don't start decorating till Thanksgiving evening. We love listening to Christmas music, and play board games as a family while decorating the family Christmas tree..

I'm a grandma...it's all about the kids. I usually am fully decorated by now, but I will be starting next weekend. On Thanksgiving my grandkids each get a remote and turn on the Christmas lights....outside, inside, all lit up. We make a big deal of it. I love your Santa picture with the greenery and bells! Lovely and cozy. Tradition - birthday cake for Jesus, a tree and nativity in every room, reading T'was the Night Before Christmas, and Christmas lights. When my girls were little, we started decorating Halloween night. Now I start in my room mid - October and then take my time decorating the house over the next couple of weeks.🎄

Hi Tori. We start decorating after dinner on Thanksgiving night. Our traditions are remembering all the christmas past and the bloopers that may have happened while decorating and how it all came together in the end and just having a good laugh and enjoying our family time together. Your home looks so beautiful! My daughters and grandbabies come over and we bake cookies while watching christmas movies. We also get together and prepare a big Christmas breakfast and afterwards exchange gifts. I love christmas too...happy birthday Jesus.❤️🌲❤️

Hi Tori I am a grandmother of 12 between me and my husband. Our tradition is to have a Christmas Party usually a week before Christmas so that all the big kids don't have to be stressed about getting over to our house on Christmas eve or Christmas day. As I'm sure you are more than aware Mom's and Dad's have so much going on. We play fun family party games that I refer to as Reindeer Games. I am pretty over the top with my Christmas decorations so I usually start before Halloween. 😅 This year it will be extra special as I was diagnosed with Lukemia early last year and am now done with the hard Chemo and feel like me again. I can’t with the kitty corner!! This is the cutest thing I’ve seen. Your fur babies are so precious. We have two inside kitties and I may steal your idea!! Love how your family room turned out- is your tree the viral one? Can’t wait to see it decorated. We started a family tradition with our son when he was little. We set aside an evening leading up to Christmas where we drive though neighborhoods near where we live and look at all the houses lit up. He’s all grown up now, but we still do this every Christmas. Every year we get a personalized ornament with the year...even for our dogs...this year is especially exciting for me and my family because our grandson is 1 and running everywhere and is honestly the happiest child I've ever seen...He is the biggest blessing I never knew I needed...I'm starting decorating tomorrow...I'm so excited. 🎄

I feel like I have so many traditions that I carried on since I was a child, but one of my favorite things to do is take my daughter to look at Christmas lights close to Christmas. As a single mom, I struggle only having her every other year for Christmas, but we love our yearly tradition of getting in our Christmas jammies, grabbing to-go cups of hot cocoa, and driving around neighborhoods to see the lights and listen to Christmas music. Usually we'll come back home and put on a Christmas movie as well. 😊 I always make it a point to wait until Thanksgiving is over to decorate, but I'm itching to get it done this year. My daughter compromised with me and said we can put up all the "wintery" stuff, but if it looks specifically for Christmas, to do it the day after Thanksgiving 😆 Merry Christmas! 🎄

One of my favorite holiday traditions that we have started as a family is just to go driving around looking at Christmas lights with a warm cup of hot chocolate. I have been starting decorating earlier and earlier every year. I feel like just because I love the warmth of the Christmas lights 🎄

I love your mantle! I am a grandma of 6, I host a gingerbread house day every year. I make a couple crock pots of soups, salads and desserts. We decorate, eat, laugh and make lasting memories. This year we are doing gingerbread house with a twist. I got the light up houses from the dollar tree. I will spray paint them white, and they can paint them in the colors they choose. So between the families and my daughter in laws, they will have a great start to their Christmas village. Then next year they can add to it. I enjoy your decorating, you give me many ideas. Love it! The boys and their wives all stay overnite here so we can all gather together when Santa comes and open gifts. This year we have a new addition, our first grandchild, a special little baby boy Arlo. Sweet little Arlo was born 3.5 months early and is only 2.3 lbs in NICU, but with prayers and the help of our Lord, sweet little Arlo will thrive, and hopefully be here on Christmas Eve 🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙💙🇮🇪🇮🇪

Prayers for sweet miracle baby Arlo and your family! The NICU experience is definitely a difficult and emotional situation to go through ❤ My first and only baby boy was 10 weeks early, was 2.11lbs, had 3 surgeries and was in the NICU for 99 days. I spent his first Christmas with him there and then we were able to bring him home 4 days later! This year will be his 3rd Christmas (2nd at home) I really do hope wish and pray that Arlo gets to spend his Christmas surrounded by his loving family! All my love to you and your family ❤ Hoping for that Christmas miracle for Arlo!

Our family struggled to find the balance of visiting grandparents on both sides, so we do a big Christmas Eve celebration with mass, dinner, and family gift giving. It has relieved the hustle of Christmas Day.

We watch It’s A Wonderful Life every year. I lost my husband a few years ago and 2 months later my son in law who was 28 died. I watch it with my daughter and 2 granddaughters now. It was my husband’s favorite movie. 🎄😘

Our favorite family tradition was inspired by the Polar Express. Christmas eve the kids get dressed in their new Christmas PJ's they just opened up, I pop some popcorn and heat up some hot coco and then we all grab some blankets, take our snacks, and pile into the car to go see as many Christmas lights as we can around our city. We started this tradition in 2009 and still do it to this day even though my kids aren't really kids anymore lol. It's a tradition that holds warm family memories for us all.

🌲Hi Tori, I love how you decorated with the bell picks. They looked weird to me in the store so I didn’t pick any up but that’s the look I am going for with my mantle this year. I hope Hobby Lobby still has them so I can pick some up. Our Christmas tradition has been to put up the Christmas tree on thanksgiving day. We sit down at the table, say grace, eat dinner at 5pm, watch a Christmas movie and start decorating the house for Christmas starting with the tree. Christmas in our house has always started on thanksgiving day to January 6th. 🎄

One tradition that we started 24 years ago when we moved to the US (NC) with our 2 young daughters is to do a bunch of charcuterie boards on Christmas Eve and that’s what we have as our dinner. We don’t have family in the US so our Christmas Eve tradition has become something we all look forward to. Our girls would either put on a little play for us or a little music concert or we’d watch a Christmas movie as we enjoyed our snacks. I start decorating for Christmas the 1st weekend in November and do a bit every weekend. I put up a lot of decor. I’m new to your channel and have gotten a lot of great ideas from you! Thank you! 🎄

Really love the shelves! Even before I was born my family has eaten Mexican food on Christmas Eve. We carried that tradition on after I got married. My husband, kids and I love it. Hard to believe that began for me coming up on 65 years! I’ve already started decorating too. So much fun! ❤🎄

Love love love your decor. One of my happiest childhood memory as a child is the family going together to cut down our Christmas tree. We had a great time we enjoyed waking through the tree farm looking for the perfect one. I’ll never forget the smell of the fresh pine tree fragrances. We took our own wagon to put the tree in to take to the car. We would help Daddy cut it down. Looking back I know we really weren’t much help with cutting it down, but Daddy made us feel like we helped. We drank hot chocolate and ate candy canes. I’m happy to say we have continued this tradition with my grandchildren!

We usually decorate the tree after Thanksgiving, but the rest of the decorations trickle in throughout the month of November. We've had a rough last few years, and Christmas just brings us a little extra joy, so we start earlier than we used to. One of my favorite traditions my husband and I started with my parents after we were married: we decorate both of our trees (ours and my parents') together. We used to do it all in one day when we used to get fresh trees, but now we usually spread it out over a few days because it's a lot of work 😅 Our girls have grown up decorating both trees and love helping Grandma and Grandpa decorate. 🎄

Every year my kids and I decorate gingerbread houses! They are sometimes sloppy and imperfect but it’s such a fun memory! As a kid my brother and sister and I used to have gingerbread house decorating competitions with my uncle and my granny and grandpa would come judge them. So it’s a tradition near and dear to me! I usually stick to decorating the day after thanksgiving, but that’s only because of my husband otherwise I’m sure it would be earlier! 😅 🎄

Enjoy all your decorating….my oldest granddaughter is 32 & I have 11 grand children …. I began doing 12 days of Christmas for her first Christmas & tradition continues…I wrap small inexpensive gifts that they begin opening 12 days before Christmas….I usually begin first of November with my Christmas decorating….🎄

Tori!!! Oh my word.. just so beautifully done!!! ❤One of the traditions we do with our kids is hiding a pickle ornament in the tree. Whoever finds it gets a special little gift (of course we give each one something) but its always so fun to see who finds it first!!! I normally dont decorate until after Thanksgiving but your videos have inspired me to start decorating now!!! I love having christmas decor up with all the cozy lights and just the over all feeling that christmas brings to our hearts!! Beautifully done! My favourite tradition was chocolate biscuits for breakfast on Christmas morning, sat with my parents on their bed opening my stocking. My favourite with my son was going out Christmas Eve day and people watching! He's 27 yrs now and only missed 2 as he was working.🎄

As we get older, our traditions are definitely starting to change. It’s not too much about the gifts anymore. It’s more about having a Christmas dinner and spending time with each other. Our favorite Christmas tradition is going to a tree farm day after Thanksgiving and getting our main Christmas tree cut down. 🌲 Another tradition I’ve started is the 12 days of Christmas- starting with Christmas Day, on the 26th to January 5th we open a gift that is for the whole family to share. This kind of helps the anticipation of Christmas to last throughout the rest of the Christmas season. ❤

I normally don’t decorate until the day after Thanksgiving, but I am so inspired by you that I am going to start this weekend! Traditions our family have include a weekend in December for baking cookies and all kinds of sweets, reading Twas the Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve, and the kids get a new ornament every year. My older kids are adults now and they have lots of ornaments for their trees🎄

We (all adults now) do a "secret santa stocking" exchange. We each chose a family members name from a hat & write a few theme ideas & one gets randomly chosen, we all must stick to items that fit within said theme. We try to outdo eachother with the funniest gifts, each year. The rule is each item must be usable for/by the recipient & stay within the theme as well as fit in a stocking. So much fun. We also do a gift swap on Christmas Eve, these gifts we try to make low/no cost and as sentimental as possible. Always my favourite moment, seeing what each person gets. (We've done first editions of favourite books, handmade gifts, photos of special moments etc)

I was just thinking about this topic the other day,the traditions I had as a kid and what traditions I’m starting with my boys now. One tradition I have with my boys is the elf of the shelf, I also read Christmas books about every night and I put Christmas trees in their room. Those are different traditions than I had as a kid. One of my traditions I loved as a kid my grandma would fill a box with all kinds of fun things for my sister and I and we were allowed to chose something out of it everyday until Christmas. Something special she did for us and I’ll never forget it. 😊 the house looks amazing! 🎄

🎄 I start decorating November 1st! My only child is my 22 year old son. He and I still love to drive around and look at Christmas lights, and now that he is older we celebrate Christmas morning at the grandparents’ with mimosas.

I started decorating before Halloween except for outside . I still need to do that . As for traditions I used to read the Christmas story from the Bible in Luke to my boys . They are now grown and one is married but that was my favorite tradition I started when they were babies. 🌲

Absolutely GORGEOUS!! You are talented. New subscriber 😘❤️🎄 We are decorating this week! Our Christmas tradition- my dad made a little manger bed for baby Jesus, which we put out with our decor. I also put a little jar of shredded paper (aka “hay”) and every time we give a “gift” to Jesus, by being kind to someone, sharing, or showing love, the kids get to add a little bit of hay to Jesus‘s bed. By Christmas morning his bed is full of hay and ready for him to be born! Christmas morning they wake up and there is a baby Jesus (doll) wrapped in a little white blanket, laying in the manger bed! It’s a sweet way to teach our children the true meaning of Christmas. 🙏🏻❤️🎄

Hey, Tori! As a child i enjoyed watching LoveFM's Christmas parade every single year with my great grandad well into my adulthood! I still keep the tradition with my little cousins the way my gramps did for my brother, and I. Christmas family's tradition is bake black and white cakes to have with have on christmas morning. Then having a big christmas dinner with my family and then going out intonthe street side to watch the Cha-Ri-Ka-Na-Ri” (Two-Foot-Cow) and Jankunus dance in the streets to the drums of our ancestors(Garifuna). I start decorating right after November 19th🤍🖤💛,which is Garifuna settlement day! 🎄

Thanks for the Christmas inspiration. Everything looks wonderful! A tradition I started in the family is having a Christmas tree in my grandchildren's bedrooms. Every year we decorate them featuring a new ornament to place on the tree. Over the years the trees have gotten very full. 🎄

🎄🎄I have started on the tree. Doing my kitchen in gingerbread. I have left some turkeys and pilgrims. Our family tradition was watching Charlie Brown Christmas and Frosty. We loved sled riding & making snowmen. ⛄️ sitting on Santa’s lap. 🎅 One year I decided to hide underneath the dining room table to catch Santa leaving my presents. 🎁 Well, my mom checked on me and found me underneath the table! Not happy! She told me to get in bed before Santa caught me peeking. I never thought of that… ! I ran… Santa loved our treats we left for him, he was extremely hungry.

🌲 We have the same traditions my family had growing up!! We love to drive around and look at Christmas lights, we watch lots of Christmas movies and shows and we always find a church service on either Christmas or Christmas eve to celebrate the birth of our Savior!! And Tori, your house looks beautiful!!! So festive!!!!

Hi Tori, I love your decorations in the living room. It all just flows together beautifully. I start decorating after Halloween. I take my time so it takes me awhile. Our tradition I started when my girls were younger was to buy them matching pajamas that they would open on Christmas Eve. I would put together a Christmas morning casserole the night before so I could put it in the oven first thing. Then we would open our presents while it baked. My girls are grown with children of their own and have followed the same traditions with their children. 🎄🎄🎄

As a child we always had Christmas music and sing along while decorating the tree , after yhe tree was decorated we'd sit together to watch a Christmas movie with hot chocolate and mini marshmallows, it's something i still do with my own kids. I loved the way it all turned out…love the red, green, and gold. We do church and waffles on Christmas Eve and big feast at Grandma’s house on Christmas Day. I am the Grandma! We also only open 1 gift at a time. Everybody watches as you open. ❤

Good morning, Tori. Your house is a very Merry elegant Christmas. Most years I don't decorate until after Thanksgiving. When I moved away and started working retail I don't get to enjoy holidays like I use to. With that being said in the past tradition were driving around looking at Christmas lights going to church services. My favorite is playing games and soaking in family time once everything else slows down. Thank you for sharing.
