Today is an EXTRA special day as I share our families annual tradition of Christmas in July! Grab a warm cup of hot cocoa and cozy up in your favorite blanket to feel all the Christmas vibes!☕️

🎄Wreath dessert recipe🎄
1 stick butter
30 large marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla extract
Green food coloring
Red m&ms or red hots (for berries)
4 1/2 cups corn flakes
Melt butter in pot (don’t let brown)
Add in marshmallows and stir until melted
Add vanilla extract & food coloring
Mix in 1/2 cornflakes at a time
Grab a small handful of mixture out of pot & form into a wreath. Add the m&ms right away so they stick

I always do Christmas in July except this year, we're doing it in August!! This brought me to tears as the love was so evident!!! Great job, and the memories will be lasting!!!

we've done this for years. my grammy brought the tradition over from uk. we use the time to write our christmas cards, pick what events we'll go to, figure what charities we'll support/work with, arrange for rides for elderly, check to see if our neighbors have some to spend christmas with, write christmas lists. we don't do presents but each child gets colouring book and of course we feast! it's tons of fun. and makes the holidays so much easier.

I enjoyed this so much. I get teased about Christmas in July. I start watching Christmas movies. In the past my little neighbor, then 8 would come down and make tree ornaments one day. The next day cookies. Then we would decorate a 3 foot tree, have hot chocolate in Christmas tea cups and listen to Christmas music. I belong to a card making group and every July my card is Christmas . Thanks for putting me in the mood.
