On Friday 9th Christmas lights were switched on in Central London featuring Regent Street, Piccadilly and St James. We started at St James where we see a giant Christmas Tree and then we walk towards Piccadilly Circus and Regent Street witnessing The Spirit of Christmas 2023. You should see the lights:2021-22*Really beautiful with angels,decorated trees etc,guess it's still early(over in:Singapore)we're having a(Green X'mas)alot of recycled ornaments,lights♡*Yeah*!!!

American culture is supposed to be fun but it has not been taught to our immigrants correctly. Mom and Grandma are suppose to shop together, and Dad with Grandpa or they take turns watching the kids, so the gifts will be a surprise on Christmas morning. Black Friday is an accounting term when the clerks switch from red ink to black ink representing a profit. Being in the black means extra money after expenses for retailers. Merchants are preparing for the end of the tax season and start of the new calendar year.

On November 9th? Dear, that's far too early! In Germany we don't switch on Christmas lights before December. But you can buy Christmas sweets from September on :-)

Maybe it’s just central London where tourists visit. Many other parts of the UK didn’t have Christmas lights and market till few days ago. Just about a month before Christmas.

Absolutely stunning! We have a tree made from road cones in our city! Thats it😢! No decorations to be seen in most shops either. Dont want to offend anyone do we...... How very sad it has come to this.
