I first listened to this mix when it came out. I was sitting in my room on a snowy night, it made me go outside and enjoy everything. At the time I felt so broken and alone in the world and music helped me get through the tough times. listening to it again in 2020 almost made me tear up, these songs are nostalgic and even inspired me to make some of my own lo-fi and chillhop beats. Thank you.

My father just passed away 2 days ago. This shit still doesn't feel real. But I've just had this shit on repeat and looking at pictures of him holding me while I was a baby. I dont know if this is helping me or just putting me in a hole, but I'll figure that out later. Guys, just have a good holiday season and please tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. This all happened so quickly, but I wish I had the chance to tell him. Have a blessed day people.
Matt, time will help, but it takes time......try to remember the good times with him, the funny times when you two were laughing, his personality, his opinions on things that were all out there--good or bad---remember the real person---their life!! It helps....peace, have a good 2018...no regrets--we are all human, not perfect ;)
sadly, I understand what you're feeling . My father passed away 2.5 months ago. I recently came across Lofi and jazz hop and listen to it everyday . I'm not in a great place right now but I'm trying to keep my head high. Do the same;) . Peace be with you ✌️

dude! That is great. The hard work is done....now you just need to maintain. I have a symbolic situation myself. My favourite pants are tight on the waist, so I know *that doesn't mean I need new pants* ...but rather need to lose the spare tire around my waist and keep the pants!
