I was just thinking about you as I was enjoying coffee cup number 1 thinking it’s about time I responded to your last vlog. As I was so eager to see an update of your kitchen and time just went by from weeks to months to a year I felt it necessary to reach out to Cheryl taking comfort in the fact that she said all was good but you needed a break. I accepted that in good faith but now I realize in my selfishness in wanting to visit with you…you were hanging on by a thread functioning with little to nothing to move you forward. First and foremost let me extend my sincerest heartfelt sympathies for the tragic loss of your Mom…cancer is a very debilitating health issue for the patient as well as family and loved ones. Oh Kim how I ache inside for your struggles but just remember that your Mom fought a good fight BUT God always wins…ALWAYS! He controls all of our lives whether we believe it or not and your Mom, as all of us, was only passing through this life to her heavenly home in the company of all Gods kingdom. It’s hopefully where we all are striving to be when God sends us our chariot ride to Him. I just know that now you have but another angel to watch over you and all your family as you continue your journey here at our earthly home and that always makes me feel somewhat stronger knowing we are truly never living our best life alone. God is so good, ALL THE TIME but sometimes we feel differently for a time as we go through pain and suffering. I’m certainly glad to see you back with another vlog to share just a small slice of your life with all your RU-vid best buds!!! I will promise to lower my expectations of you if you will just keep in touch with us as you feel you can because I missed you. We maximalists must stick together. Don’t be frustrated at the time it’s taking to remodel your home because it takes time to fit all the extras into our daily lives. Hunny and I took 14 plus years to remodel our original retirement home and we are still working at the odds and ends of our cottage. Time, money and energy never come together but if we just look forward and do what we can, when we can-things always get accomplished. Take time for yourself, and your Hunny, and your dear sweet babies…everything else is in Gods hands so pray that the pieces of your life will at some point all fit together again and you will be back to your dear sweet Kim again. We’re gonna make it after all because we have God and there’s nothing else needed if we only trust!!!:):):)
So glad you’re back. When my mom passed I fell into a deep depression and didn’t have any joy. I know what you’re feeling. 2013 was a year that was real tough. I still miss her.
It's so magical and wonderful, you always have a every room and outside looking so pretty. I know your house is old and needs work but, I love it and thanks for allowing us to see it all.

Hi Kim! Loved seeing this video...your farmhouse is just gorgeous and so festive! I didn't comment on your last video but was so sorry to hear about your mom and your dog. Death is never easy to deal with and hopefully your time off from RU-vid gave you time to somewhat recover from all that you went through last year. I am so happy you are back and please take your time in getting back to videos. We subbies have missed you and I especially loved your "junk in the trunk" vids! Looking forward to seeing this year's Christmas videos. You are an amazing decorator!!!
Thank you for letting us see the rest of Christmas 2021. I have looked at your 2021 Hot Coco Bar several times. Your candy and gingerbread decorating has inspired me to decorate a gingerbread tree this year. Look so forward to your 2022 decorating. I have seen so much all white decorations this year on RU-vid !!!! Sure hope you keep your explosion of color in your decorating. Thanks for sharing.
Your home is beautiful. I lost my dad in March of this year. So I’m trying to get into decorating. It’s just very hard to do. Your home tour for last year is beautiful. I pray for comfort for you this holiday season as well.
Hi Kim! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. I love how every room has it's own Christmas themes, it made me feel warm and cozy watching the video. Loved it all! 🥰❤

Stunning! Just a wonderful display of joy! Beautiful farmhouse! You did an amazing job! I lost my 38 yr. Old son a year ago today! Lost my mom when I was 35. The struggle with grief is real! But I know they are both in good hands. My son had cancer, it’s a horrible disease. I pray for you, peace and strength! Lots of love, hugs and prayers!💕
Hi Kim, I watched your vlog and I am deeply sorry for your loss, our family has suffered a loss too but you stated that your mom wouldn't want to come back she is in Good hands with God, try to look at that way too so Thank you for saying that, it's helpful. Beautiful! House tour. Appreciate you sharing. God Bless
Omgosh I love your videos. I just found them your family and home are beautiful. I’m a lot older then you have a chronic illness that keeps me in bed and depressed a lot. But my one lifetime love and hobby has been decorating and fixing up my home but the last six years I haven’t done much. I just told my husband last night I was done with decorating for Christmas it wasn’t worth it anymore. BUT after seeing your video I can’t I just can’t give it up I know it will help me. The joy in my heart just seeing your home so beautiful. Thank you for the motivation to keep going. Merry Christmas 🎄

Wow Kim...so gorgeous!! You never disappoint with anything your decorate. Im so glad you shared this with us bc this was just to good not to share. It must of took you two weeks to decorate everything. So much detail. Your amazing & your Christmas wonderland is too. I love all the traditional colors but that Pink room just instantly grabbed my attention...BEAUTIFUL!! PS: Thank you for your return, you've been very missed. Continue prayers for you & your family. I know the holidays can be hard. Sending our Love & Prayers from South Louisiana 🙏🌲🎅😘
At first I thought your house was decorated for this year and I was thinking how in the world did you take down all that fall decoration and put up Christmas. Now I feel better about myself it was last year's Christmas😁. I always enjoy your home tours, love the way you decorate your house and especially all the traditional colors. Some of your decorations take me back to my childhood with the silver tinsel tree and The Kissing Santa. I inhered a lot of Christmas decorations and ornaments from my mother , which I will cherish forever❤. Looking forward to your next video👍❤🤗
Absolutely gorgeous home! Thank you so much for the inspiration! We also purchased a “What were we thinking “ farmhouse. I love all the way you embrace the character of the house. . It’s hard to pick a favorite room, each is stunning!💕
Hello Kim my friend your farm house Christmas 2021 decor so beautiful I am happy that you posted cuz you did encourage me I did put up my fall stuff matter of fact two days ago and I am going to get my Christmas stuff out and thank you for sharing
Highlight of my night, thank you Kim! What a joyful delight looking at your gorgeously decorated C’mas home. Thank you for ALL your hard work, and taking us along. 🎄🎅🏼♥️💚
Lol, Kim! When the video first started, I was startled to see Christmas so soon. I was thinking " dannggg, girl! You are good". 😅 I am still in awe of your decorating skills even with a 2021 home tour. The farmhouse looks amazing! ❤🤗
Everything looks fabulous as always! I especially like how you decorate your trees. How do you get the garlands to stay in place on the mantles? Maybe you could make a demo video sometime, if you haven’t already. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed it.
you have beautiful things but some of it is too cluttered.. love that bench in the foyer so pretty...i would par down on the decor or scatter throughout home...i love the thrifted stuff i get alot of that from goodwill just great items. the mantle garland is wayyyy too heavy...and i would take all those cluttery items off top of tree and add a simple beautiful star which led the wise men to baby Jesus..i will never have anything other than a star it's so significant....omg those gingham curtains are so beautiful and i love that plaid pillow with the snowflakes....love your home tour!! it's great!!
