I haven’t even finished the video and I have to comment that you are legit mom of the year. Pool time, sleepover, pasta bar, breakfast, chauffeur service, movie….what don’t you do?! My kids are too young for this stuff but this inspires me to do stuff like this when they’re older.

I have hyperhydrosis and stopped wearing makeup and paying dear to get my hair done in my late 20’s. I’m now 59 and for the last 5 years I have taken an incontinence tablet which stops the sweating. I also don’t wear jackets at most I wear a cardigan, I live in Scotland so it’s cold 300 days of the year lol. But I no longer feel embarrassed about the sweats. I’m so hungry now for bbq x

The potato salad looked good. Such a classic. It seems each family has a unique traditional version of potato salad. My mom makes rice Krispy treats with peanut butter melted with the marshmallows. Very good.

Jen, love, love, 💕 all the hard work and time and energy you put into each video! You give me so much motivation! I use to be a nurse, retired now due to disability. But I do have a 12 y/o and love watching things you get for the kids and your choice of different kinds of groceries and ideas of what to make! You make each and every video such a variety and a real pleasure to watch. Just FYI on the shampoo and spray. I’m new to the Olaplex, I have very curly frizzy hair that’s really hard to manage in the summer time in Tx with the high humidity. I love the new Olaplex you can just really tell when you use it. I read about it and your only supposed to use it like once or twice a month, but I swear it changes the feeling of your hair! I also sometimes don’t use any conditioner in the shower, I get out and spray the CHI keratin mist, I feel like it really helps with tangles when air drying and doesn’t frizz so bad. Then the next day sometimes I use a little dime handful of the CHI oil and it makes it so smooth and shiny! On a side not u mentioned your mother in law made chocolate cherry cake. Do you know the recipe? It sounds so good! Hope you had a great holiday and thank you so much for all that you do! Hi Jen, when your spuds are done instead of using the paring knife to take the skins off in the fashion you showed, use the tip to draw a score around the girth of the potato, then grasp either end and twist, one hand one way and the other hand in the opposite direction. The skins should just slip off so the are 2 pieces of skin in your hand and a naked spud. Please give it a go on film so we can see you do this. ( if you have to practice first? ) but honestly it's so easy!

Great pro tip on boiling potatoes. I see too many you tube cooks cutting up potatoes then putting them in boiling water! Potatoes are supposed to be started in cold water so they cook through evenly. I’ve never seen Alpine seasoning, though so I’ll be looking for it. Great video.

I love pressure cooker mac & cheese! 😍 ETA that I’m glad to see Adam in jeans! My husband had a mishap with a handsaw on Memorial Day. He always wears jeans when he intends to cut things, but it was a last-minute decision while he was out on our property. He was wearing shorts and the handsaw caught on a vine he was cutting. He was all alone, but had the presence of mind to sit down and hold his leg wound closed. Somehow he managed to call me at home - it was pretty chaotic while I dashed around for medical supplies (we have since addressed that problem - all the medical gear is now in one spot), but we got him bandaged up, out of the woods, and down to the ER in under an hour. 13 staples and six weeks later, he’s on the mend. Thankfully, though the cut was deep, it did not hit any major blood pathway!

The way Jen did it is the way I learned from my mother. It’s not the way I do the potatoes now. I peel, dice and steam them. Takes half the time and they are not soggy

On the Krud Kutter. I too have a black range and followed your lead and ordered it. I just love it. Last week I was shopping at Walmart for WD 40 when I happened upon Krud Kutter. They stocked it in the hardware area near all of their liquid items. I had previously searched their cleaning supply aisle and never found it. lol

Our kids were not able to go to the pool this year on the 4th. They are having staffing issues and are closed all the time lately!! Loved the pasta bar, we are going to try that, looked easy and yummy! I like that patio set, ours doesn't have it's own covers.

I like using sashimi grade tuna from a seafood market, but it's too pricey now so I will use shrimp or crabstick as well. Cream cheese/cucumber is a good combo, and I think mango/jalapeno/cream cheese is yummy as well 🤗
